  • Haha...a perma-grinner? I like it. And I like saying "Fuck." Thanks for the empowerment, Harley.

  • Durianrider that makes so much sense

  • Combienflorae I am the same, having a hard time living in this British weather and I am from Brasil! Wtf!! I must go back

  • I really need to move away from this cold-ass British climate...! Haha. Bet I'd feel better somewhere like Oz.

  • this is a great video. really great.

  • its a great poam. well remembed! :)

  • nice one harley! :) But dont you think it's easier to stay as happy as you in sunny places on earth? I can imagine that Australia and Thailand are good places to catch some sun in. Here in sweden its winter right now and the weather and sunlight is freakin depressing hehe. Did u manage to stay this meantally fit in New York when u lived there, and did u live there during the winter too?

    Have a nice weekend! =)

  • @massivejester Lack of sunlight i mean!

  • @massivejester What the fuck are you doing living in unnatural cold climates? FUCK THAT MAN! :)

  • Is there any way that I can uplift the world by drinking a shit-ton of beer and crying a lot in the dark?

  • So is Veganism about health, or is it about ethicis?

  • @germanicelt Vegan is about freedom for me! Freedom from all those lies I was told every second since birth. Freedom from the cattle barons who claim high dollar profits while claiming it is ok to destroy the planet while raping and torturing animals en masse. Freedom from what is typical, what is common, the cravings of junk food, the confusion of all the fad diets, being trapped and led around by immediate gratifications. Vegan for me = freedom for me!

  • 3 people doesn't like this video...! haha kind of a fun twist on the subject . Life!

  • Thank you for another especially pertinent video for motivation and inspiration. You have several similar videos that are most supportive and encouraging. Much gratitude and of course, much love, blessings, and mellow peacefulness,

    Julie

  • Douche lol

  • I feel motivated watching your videos. Fruit cured my depression. Remembering to eat enough is key.

  • This video does not help! I wanted to hear more about how to overcome depression, and all you were talking about is about some "revolution"....?? Actually you were talking about several things, going from topic to topic every 30 seconds. Please prepare next time before making a video about such a serious subject as depression and do some research.....Wish this video had more content. :(

  • @jklfds85 Step into YOUR own power. Once you, YOURSELF, come to the realization that happiness is in fact a choice in the present moment, all else is irrelevant. No amount research, clinical trials. left brain wishy washy hippie dippie bong sucking 'shroom trippin cocoa munching BS will get you there.

This is the part most would say good luck but, honestly, you don't even need it... ; )

  • @jklfds85 I think he is saying that if you eat fresh raw fruits and salads, get some exercize and good rest, being supper healthy, that it will help with the depression. There are several good tips in this talk, and he does look rather healthy and happy. Cheers.

  • @jklfds85 Watch GAPS videos instead. i think you'll get a lot more out of that. Read about gut health, probiotics, getting sunshine (Vit. D, which is more an enzyme than a vitamin) and lots of greens (chlorophyll) which is actually sun (light) Get lots of exercise. Breathe good air. Do some yoga. Start by cutting out wheat, all highly processed foods, sugars and alcohol, and go from there.

  • Good video, Thanks for speaking.

  • Fuckin awesome dude... raw is the way.

  • hey is that the Noarlunga line?

  • as you say...attitude for gratitude

  • I feel super inspired by everything you said in this video. i love animal, I love this world I love natural beauty. Im from canada and my life dream has been to visit and or move to australia. I just love the natural being of australia. you inspire me thank you

  • how do you save the planet if you're eating off all the vegetation LOL

  • @nasim1473 Look at a fruit tree. Get off the playstation and get out side some more. Ride your bike around the world and pay attention to the landscapes. I have.

  • Comment removed

  • @nasim1473 People like you are destroying the earth! You support fast food and the dairy and meat industries! Plants can feed the planet!!!

  • Being healthy and having a good life is the permanent solution to depression but Sceletium is absolutely amazing. It is 10x more effective than St. John's Wort, it makes you feel euphoric, gives you energy, detoxes you, gives you mental focus and helps you sleep. It is not a stimulant unless you take too much and it has no side effects unless you are toxic then it may cause you to vomit which is it just detoxing you.

  • @LordAngus1992 Where can I get this Sceletium?? Not selenium, is it??

  • i love your beautiful mind :) i think and believe the same way. earth is beautiful and we should respect and care for it. xoxo

  • thank you. agape love.

  • awesome best yet

  • you are a great motivator!

  • ...that's what woody harrelson said in his poem

  • Super cool rad!

  • Yeah u might feel great , you might feel energitic but in the end u end up being antisocial, Eating is a social event no matter what, even unsubconcious u end up saying no when asked to go to hamburger place or no to go to a meat restaurant. Vegan makes you a loner, a bit of a freak.

Other then that its great to temporary cure disease or whatever, however I compromised and think this is the best way to go

  • @Inflamsx I'm a vegan and I go to restaurant with people....I eat with people...I'm social.

And if everyone was the same....it would be boring. We need vegan "freaks" in the world!

  • @Inflamsx DR has an active social life with people who aren't vegan so no you're wrong. You just have to order a salad, bring your own food or eat something beforehand.

  • @Inflamsx Watch raw vegan social tips #121

  • You are wonderful!

  • your an idiot

  • You have your shit together

  • I hear Lorikeets in the background

  • @imnotabear good observation!

Rainbow lorikeets are common around this place.

  • Just curious, does Australia have GMO foods contaminating its food supply like in Amerika?

  • for sure we do! most of our food is imported from nations that grow gm. china, europe, south america, north america...

  • I say do what you can and make a habit out of good things:)

  • Do you dare to feel responsible for every dollar you lay down?

Are you gonna make the rich man richer or

Are you gonna stand your ground?

If you are feeling depressed, that is your bodies call to action/signal to shift your focus and take action NOW.

    Sharing, contribution and caring.

  • u need to eat some foods that make u stop talking about nothing-

  • "u need to eat some foods that make u stop talking about nothing-"

    then fuck off

  • are you saying we all need to eat ALASKAN SALMON to not be depressed? Get realy dude. I'd say fresh organic sprouts pack more of a punch.

  • DR has helped me so much! I am headed to the Caribbean to be a Raw Food Chef and I was worried about making all the gourmet crap but now I am going to take a more simplier approach. My body has been asking me to simplify. My emotions are also in need of being simplified. Thanks DR for everything you do! Your message is being heard loud and clear and you are BEAUTIFUL

I think I will take my video camera and document my life in the Caribbean so I can help spread the message!!

  • Yeah ! You do that bro !

Peace, Love and good luck on your Journey !

    QM

  • You don't eat your dogs and you still raise them. You don't have to eat the animals you have on your land. The animals have a greater purpose then that. They make great company and they are great for the land. Of course you would only have a sustainable amount and variety on your land and it would be far better and sustainable for the planet. They just wouldn't be so damn overpopulated and destroying the environment.

  • lol, first people slander vegans or vegetarians being small like a twig (this only happens as a temporary detox basis, then weight returns), now overweight...ok my friend.

Before farm animals were even raised, we got wild chickens perching on trees, wild cows roaming the land in packs, wild boars and similar pigs wandering and digging in the forests....

  • those breeds have long been extincted, if we changed our minds now the wouldn't be able to survive. i don't know any skinny vegetarians, but plenty with protean and iron deficiencys.

  • And you have some lab test that says they have a protein deficiency? It's pretty much IMPOSSIBLE to have a protein deficiency unless someone has a serious calorie deficiency. Unless they are starving. I call B.S. on that one!

The animal populations would go down of course, as everything would balance back out with them, as it should be. There should not be billions of pigs packed together on industrial farms. It's not even sustainable and it's killing the earth and waterways.

  • If a farm raised pig escapes into the wild it's features will return to those of a wild boar. Pigs are the most inteligent farm yard animal and would easily survive in the wild. As for cows, if they die out it was meant to be, they shouldn't even be in some of the places we have put them.

  • I'll repeat George's words : It's impossible to have a protein deficiency unless someone has a serious calorie deficiency. Nature/God didn't make a huge mistake by making a food with not enough protein(what all cells are made of, including plant cells and enzymes..... the "pro" means "first" in importance.

  • Right, there would be a lot more wild animals again instead as there should be. Just because we want to be domesticated, doesn't mean that they should be.

People's diets are putting them in the hospitals right now by the millions. If they went vegan, FAR less of them would end up in the hospital. Read the China Study.

Canine teeth? Really? I can't find any looking in the mirror. That's what you call those things? I can't even cut my own tongue on them. Go look at your cat or dogs teeth......

  • Yep. Reminds me of a Rush song: "They see what they want to see; the mirror always lies"

They need an excuse to keep their habits acceptable..

  • ooo where is a vegan coke?? that I would be interested in!

  • It's important to feel ALL emotions...to self-heal, be self aware and move THROUGH them, not deny them, that's how we EVOLVE...

  • thank you so much. very motivational and inspirational!!! :)

  • You are love! When I watch you I experience hope and gratitude.......and my insides smile instinctively. Thank you for posting these videos, I appreciate them so very much.

  • this is great video, really lifted me.

    Cheers.

  • I can totally stand behind this guy. Ever since I went on a raw diet I FEEL FUCKING GREAT. Feel free to contact me for tips

  • great. inspiring. Every time I feel bad and wanna go 100% fruitarian I watch these. i am gonna shift my focus once and for all.

    Peace out...

  • Are you for real, Dude?!? If So, then how can we REALLY help the (your) cause!

    Peace.

  • i was depressed once...but like you said, i made a choice. I made a choice to think outside my self-pity. To think we are the only, and most complex, organisms withing TRILLIONS of lightyears above our heads...WOW! ride the cosmos, dude

  • Thank You Dude I feel great!!!

  • thanks mate, but remember, YOU make yourself feel great..not me or anyone else..

  • I do not disagree with any of your comments but in dealing with depression sometimes you see things are not right but you can not do anything about it, depression is about more than diet and a positive attitude though it is a strong link to management and recovery

  • depressions is an extension of boredom in consumer capitalism

  • No Jimmy, depression is a black hole that you find yourself peering out of wondering what the fu#k happened to the person you see looking back at you in the mirror. Consumer capitalism is a disease in its own right dealt with, by awareness, gratitude and giving back.

  • I love your attitude man,You lifted my spirits thankyou

  • love love love!!! :) :) :)

  • great vid :) 5*'s

  • freakin awesome!

  • You're my hero :)

  • Dude, watch out here comes a train (full of meat eatin losers, what are you doin' on the train tracks bro!? and uh,,,.. you didn't have anything to do with the vegan grafitti did you?!! Love the rymin!

  • love it!

  • you give me hope. you set a really good example.

all power to you. all power to the people.

  • right on.i'm trying to go further on the path to become a healer, but i know i need to heal myself first. i've gone raw at least 4 times and i'm at the point where i'm just kind of saying to myself just go full out raw already!! it just makes it harder every time i fall back into a cooked vegan diet. cooked vegan is okay, but raw is the ultimate.i just gotta somehow be able to remind myself that the hard times in detoxing will only happen once.but usually it's like oh my god i can't handle this.

  • If the detox is extreme, take it easy on yourself and just increase the % - 60%, 70%, 80%. It's working for me. Other slow ways of detoxing are:

    1. Fruit the first 6 hours of the day

    2. removing one bad food at a time, every 4 months.

....and remember to exercise - it's HUGELY important.

  • Powerful message.
