This fight was the gayess fight ever. Kimbo is so called "The Bare Knuckle Champ". Why didn't he stand up and trade punches with Mercer. I wanted to see them stand strike and box. This fight wasn't about grappling and wrestling, it was about a toe to toe fight. Shit, if it was about grappling and all that, let Kimbo fight Dan Henderson. Mercer ain't no fucking MMA fighter, he's a boxer. Let's see Kimbo go toe to toe with Mercer in a street brawl "Bare Knuckle Fight" or in a boxing match.

Mercer has covered up like that in every boxing match, its just his style to absorb everything and let the guy get tired and lose heart by the fact he is still standing then open up. Not one significant blow landed on him in that exchange.
Mercer turned up for a fist fight, he was guilty of over confidence in that aspect and believing that kimbo wanted to keep it standing he "knew" he would win and learning mma to any level at his age wasnt going to happen, kimbo knew that and sought out Bas so as to give him another option in the fight, fairplay to him but just watch any mercer boxing match to know that in a standup fight as in the kimbo streetfight video`s or in a boxing ring then kimbo would have no chance.

Kimbo is a good fighter. Is he built up to be a lot better than he truly is? Yes. But so is Peyton Manning, Shaq, and Derek Jeter. It's called "Spectator Sports." There's a rating system that the networks are competing in. It may be fixed, by whom, we'll never know. But you can't take it away from these guys that they're good.

Not too far, kimbo just has defeated a bunch of nothings at taco bell,(Tank has never been a good fighter) Kimbo has some heavy hands and that is all about. If he were given with a UFC or Pride shot, he will get his ass kicked by real fighters, imagine Kimbo fighting Nog, Couture, Barnnett, Fedor or Sylvia, he has no chance at all. Kimbo at this point would get owned by a "top class" UFC fighter, but with that said, he may be able win some against lower tier fighters. His strength is overwhelming to some of those younger guys and he is learning how to MMA fight now. Who would expect him to beat top fighters after only two mma fights. I wouldnt but id say hes progressing fast

i dont think kimbo would be owned at all. it is possible to beat him as everyone has seen, but to stand toe to toe with him for a lengthy amount of time and actually knock him out, im still waiting to see that shit. Gannon choked him out when he wasnt fit and b4 his training started with Bas. He isn't immortal by any means but i got alot of dough on kimbo if hes fighting a stand up fighter.

This fight was the gayess fight ever. Kimbo is so called "The Bare Knuckle Champ". Why didn't he stand up and trade punches with Mercer. I wanted to see them stand strike and box. This fight wasn't about grappling and wrestling, it was about a toe to toe fight. Shit, if it was about grappling and all that, let Kimbo fight Dan Henderson. Mercer ain't no fucking MMA fighter, he's a boxer. Let's see Kimbo go toe to toe with Mercer in a street brawl "Bare Knuckle Fight" or in a boxing match.

He wasnt even hurting Mercer, Mercer blocked virtually every punch, elbow and knee, even if they had connected Mercer would still be standing. Go watch some Mercer fights and see that this guy has the strongest chin in history. No way would Kimbo ko him.

Mercer has covered up like that in every boxing match, its just his style to absorb everything and let the guy get tired and lose heart by the fact he is still standing then open up. Not one significant blow landed on him in that exchange.

Mercer turned up for a fist fight, he was guilty of over confidence in that aspect and believing that kimbo wanted to keep it standing he "knew" he would win and learning mma to any level at his age wasnt going to happen, kimbo knew that and sought out Bas so as to give him another option in the fight, fairplay to him but just watch any mercer boxing match to know that in a standup fight as in the kimbo streetfight video`s or in a boxing ring then kimbo would have no chance.
