  • This was fucking great! I am a big Taxi Driver fan (not the kind Hinckley was, you know, bat shit), and have an intrest in crime (assassinations) and film. This was superb. Even the little stuff. I love the "Cabin in the woods production" (me being a Evil Dead Fan), and the Beatles (Happiness is a warm gun was perfect). Fucking awsome job!

  • This reminds me of the movie The Day Reagan was shot this is a great movie.

  • Very good, Im sure the FBI now have you on their list :>

  • Terrifying. Ergo, superb performance.

  • There are abolutuely no disabled people in the world so Supplemental Security Income for the Disabled MUST BE ABOLISHED!!! as it is a hate crime and all guns must be outlawed!!! And Reagan should have been arrested by the UN Peace-keeping Force in May 1981 for the criminal charges of crimes against humanity and kept in a top-secret prison for life!!! John Hinckley is just like Paul Revere shooting British Government officals at Concord, MA on April 19, 1775!!!!

  • Cool movie, but John Hinckley Jr. wasn't wearing glasses on the day he shot Reagan.

  • I guess he should have been. Maybe then he could see where he was shooting

  • This was interesting. Good job on this video it really captured my attension.

  • That was the best short film project I've ever seen. Great job!

  • Impressive editing and a convincing performance.

I've always found the Reagan assassination attempt particularly fascinating because it wasn't motivated by politics, but by something more human and visceral.

  • Very good movie. I really liked how you portrayed Hinckley.

  • Too bad the whole story is a lie. Hinckley was a friend of the Bush Family and the whole thing was a setup. You can look that up and then draw your own conclusions.

  • This was excllent! A little anachronistic, but if you are a film student, what can you do? What matters at this stage is the impact. This really did have an impact. One feature of note I liked was that the On Screen Hinkley never talked. He basically narrerated through tape recordings, and that love letter to Jodie foster. Overall the filming was brilliant. Kudos.

  • Superbly done! I'm a student filmmaker myself, and I can guess you put a great deal of effort into this project. Props!

  • nicely done.

  • great

  • Hinkley was a family friend of the Bushes, and Bush Jr released him from the loonybin in 2007. His father ran World Vision for CIA and employed the lonenut who shot John Lennon. Read Pentagon's declassified Operation Northwoods.

  • Notice the 2007-2008 $20 bill at 02:49.

  • A very professionally produced mini-film... very well done :)

  • John Hinckley's grandfather was Gordon Hinckley, leader of Mormon church whom just died.

  • Excellent use of "Taxi Driver," the guy's voice, and the words of Hinkley. Good job.

  • Transitions could be smoother. Camera work is not bad.

  • it stops at 4:53. Damnmit....

  • I've recently been doing a lot of research on Presidential assassinations/attempts and I have to say that not only is this film helpful in my efforts to learn more, but also entertaining. Good job.

  • I think you've made an excellent video. It's very well done. Check out our video, it's on the same topic, but it's definitely not as pro as yours.

  • Stop peddling the myth! Hinckley was not motivated by "being an introverted loner". He was brainwashed at the direction of ex-CIA director George H.W. Bush who lost in his Presidential nominee bid to Reagan but got in the white house anyway as his Vice President. Then Reagan gets shot in his first year in office. WAKE UP!

  • Are you kidding? If they bothered to trick this guy so much then why would they not train him? He used a fucking .22 and could not aim. It was a poorly thought out plan. His history shows that he was nuts well before GHW Bush lost to Reagan

  • Yeah, that $20 bill scene fucked it up! I needed to forget that scene to get back into it.

  • I was just cast in a production of Assassins...I'll recommend this as research to the director (and the Hinkley guy, of course).

  • Well made and interesting film. What else do you have planned?

  • in the trial, John Hinckley Jr., the assasin, confessed having an obsession for Jodie Foster, the girl of his dreams.

  • was that wot the guy realli sed

  • Great job. Good filming. That guy's voice was perfect for it.

  • That was good. Though the new $20 bills kind of took me out of it. But other than that... good!

  • Wow. Amazing filming. Really, really well made film!

  • i liked it

  • That has to be the most disrespectful film I've ever seen.

  • You need to get out more.

  • oh shut up
