So he talks around the mantras but doesn't give them. Waste of my time. This is not a time to hold secrets. Things are changing too rapidly. Throw it all into the mix, since we either survive or fall off a cliff.

Like Bob mentioned on the show, these mantras are given in a ceremonial situation. Any information you want about mantras are right at your fingertips. Falling off of the cliff is up to you!

It's not about me - it's about the crying need for a mass change. Ceremonies are just a way to soak money from people by making them feel special. Anything will work for a mantra, even "Peanut Butter and Jelly." The idea is to stop the stream of monkey-mind chatter with a repeaterd form. You can also do the same thing by repeating and observing the words that come into your head, very slowly.

That is true, the idea is to stop the monkey mind or to observe it. But bija mantra is not a mantra of repetition, it is a different style. And the scriptures state that a bija mantra must be activated with shakti, or spiritual energy , to work. Otherwise its just a word.

I never heard of a mantra you don't repeat. What do you do with it if you don't repeat it ;') Transmission of shakti is fine, but it doesn't reach enough people - only a small number of those who are aware of such things. My contention is that vast changes are approaching, the rules have been relaxed, and something has to reach large numbers - probably over the Interet.

I think there are plenty of resources for spiritual growth. With the inernet all it takes is a simple search. And I dont think the hidden secret that is going to save the world is a mantra that wasnt revealed on the show. But your right, I dont think enlightenment is in the public eye enough through shows like this. It would be great to see these things on prime time, but for now it takes a little research.

Well, the mass media that brought us the Iraq war because They couldn't do any research, sure is going to miss the wave of Awakening ;') A lot of people are probably going to be drugged or institutionalized because they and their loved ones won't understand what's really happening to them, and the media will Never get a clue. In fact, there are probably a lot of people who are being drugged or in institutions now, who didn't know about this stuff, so that was the "answer" our society gave them.

A good book on the study of various mantras is, The power of Mantra and the Mystery of Initiation. Sorry I dont remember the author. I hope this helps.

Who or what says that he HAS to give you the mantras? A "crying need for mass change" doesn't mean that even if you gave the mantra to everyone FREE ON PUBLIC TV, that they would use it, because 99.9% of people wouldn't. If anything will work, then just use your mantra "Peanut butter and jelly"!
