The Canadian National burned up the wheel bearings on the last excursion. I know because I was there. We had to return from Moscow via diesel power.

it burned up Driver One and Driver Four main bearings. it is now fixed and back in operating . It had it's test run yesterday July 15th. and is doing well. Both 2317 & 3254 will be steam up this weekend. 3254 will be taking the train to Moscow and 2317 will be doing the short trip.

514 is ok, they were running it on the long run, out to Moscow with Engineer Bernie Obrian.

Hey Len, great work as always! A couple of things I was wondering about.....where did they move 3377 to!? She's not in her normal spot. Also, I believe that guard around the whistle is to keep steam from blowing back into the cab at speed, I've seen it on there ever since I was a little kid. I think the reason it sounds crappy is the engineer isn't "hanging" on the cord :(

3377 is parked with the 4-4-4 CP steamer next to the old sand tower.
