And if Christ is preached, that out of the dead he hath risen, how say certain among you, that there is no RISING AGAIN OF DEAD PERSONS? and if there be NO RISING AGAIN OF DEAD PERSONS, neither hath Christ risen;
and if Christ hath not risen, then void [is] our preaching, and void also your faith,
"Moreover we are even found to be false witnesses of God, because we testified against God that He raised Christ, whom He did not raise, if in fact the dead ARE NOT RAISED. For if the dead ARE NOT RAISED, not even Christ has been raised; and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins."
@jcschain The last day is most likely when the Temple was destroyed. But it was the "day approaching" of Heb 10:25, and the "day is at hand" of Romans 13:10.
Very thought provoking..

Here is Young's literal translation:
And if Christ is preached, that out of the dead he hath risen, how say certain among you, that there is no RISING AGAIN OF DEAD PERSONS? and if there be NO RISING AGAIN OF DEAD PERSONS, neither hath Christ risen;
and if Christ hath not risen, then void [is] our preaching, and void also your faith,

What translation are you using? Here is NASB:
"Moreover we are even found to be false witnesses of God, because we testified against God that He raised Christ, whom He did not raise, if in fact the dead ARE NOT RAISED. For if the dead ARE NOT RAISED, not even Christ has been raised; and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins."
