The skirt, even from my point of view, is well made I think - especially the way it (I dont' knw how to say) looks like it has lots of volume (or layers?) in it, yet moves like feather.

Way to go Max! Now you are putting some creativity in it - that's another ingredient to make cosplay more entertainng.

Thanks so much for noticing! I always make her full skirts 3x the fabric the pattern calls for- I like the x-tra POOF!! She does have on a double ruffled petticoat under also. I had to go back to the store for more fabric for the ruffles twice! I've never made a petticoat before and had no idea it would take nearly 8 yards to make. Thanks Kaz!! :)

That was the first thing she said to me after her performance was how happy the crowd made her feel when they clapped along with her :)

From the stage she can't really SEE the audience but she could here them when they joined in and that rocked her night!! She sorta feeds of the energy the audience gives to her and she tries to send it back to them- LOL

I agree It was really unorganized this year- sort of a disappointment in that regard. The hotel staff acted as if the thousands of cosplayers didn't even exist. So sad- I hope Oni can survive this years debacle- I love this con so much! Oh and yes Max is singing along with her track but they played it so loudly she almost had to yell to be heard over it. She just gave it her best~

AWW your comments are so nice!! Maxine does do it better for an audience I think, The "camera" as an audience is just boring to her- there's no feed back and she has to "make" herself smile for the camera. You are right "live" is so much more fun for her. And she is rarely nervous in front of live people like she is for a camera shot.
