Waaaaaaait. 10:15 isn't the dreadnought's close combat weapon make it a str 10 hit which is double the orks toughness of 4? So why did he roll 2+ to wound? What did I miss?? :(

@TheZeroSpades the furioso's base strength is 6, which is what he uses to kill the orks with. you need 2 more str than the target's toughness to wound on 2's.

Last time I fought a furioso it assaulted my orks out a stormraven and with fleat of foot got nearly a 30" charge range, it charged one of my 25 boy ork mobs and did 22 wounds before I got to fight back... ='(. I gotta say the furioso for 130 so points its a pretty decent unit.

Pretty sure you don´t get the flamer and the storm bolter when you get blood talons on the furioso. It says you´re replacing the blood fists which got the weapons build in with the talons, hence you lose the weapons when you get the talons. Someone correct me if I´m wrong.

I had a similar situation with a Furioso Dreadnaught and Orks. Yet this was a groupd oif Nobz with the Warboss. The Furioso came crashing down from orbit, with the Dread ripping apart my nobz to bits, yet my Warboss had enough of this and single handedly struck a blow with his Big Choppa to spot bits of it killing it flat out in one shot. My Nobz might have died and my Warboss was on his own, but I can tell you for sure that he did not look back, cause Cool guys don't look at explosions.

I had the same exact encounter with a furiouso dread before...as an ork too...full squad of Boys minus the few he flamed, decided to charge not knowing of blood talons. One and a half turns later every last boy died a violent death. The nob and his claw did nothing. I cried...a lot...inside.

@Sife888 I recently played in a tourney and a guy was using black templars. He used standard marines but just painted them correctly. Just as long as the weapons and colours are ok, you shouldn't have a problem

@steveonash I dont think so, i think it has the same initiative because its a vehicle, kind of the same with dark eldar splinter cannon has a heavy and assault option but when on a vehicle you always use the heavy option... if that makes sense :/

I think Furioso Dreads only get 3 attacks with Blood Talons, since Furioso Dreads are base 2(3). The (3) means with the basic load out they get an extra attack for two close combat weapons (Blood fists).
