I have noticed that the voice is different, but like Zac with Drew Seeley in the first movie, I think that Vanessa's voice was blended with another singer. At least Vanessa is still a good singer, not all good singers can reach some parts of the song with their voices.
But she doesn't sing everything in the songs with her. Same with Ashley and Zac too. When i listend to the kareoke versions with backup they are having alot of backup all the time. OMG that is SO true, the voice does completely change!!
but it probably isn't because she couldn't sing them, they probs got in a singer last minute to fill in a few words because of some recording glitches and needed them perfected if you get me lol!

Yeah, I agree with people! Before you go your little "investigation", look on a hell lot of other shows/movies from Disney and you can here that it's edited. Vanessa has her own CD where it's 110 % her own voice and she doesn't need another person to do that for her. So just drop this and get yourself a better life, cause really. You're really really REALLY.. pathetic!

Aunque ella cante por que si canta alguien debe de hacer coros o "background voices" o tambien se le llama "guest voices" casi siempre son hechas por alguien con la voz mas aguda,y a veces estas voces invitadas deben acompañar a las voces principales durante la cancion para llegar a cierto tono, demas puede fingir la voz para hacerla asi,lo sé por experiencia, por lo tanto vanessa SI canta
