I personally have many homosexual friends who are Christians/Jews and love God just as much as the next person. Secondly, Homosexuals do not want anything from the church. They want recognition by the government. In this country, church and state are separate, or at least they should be, thus the church should have no say in who has the right to marry.

Have you ever been to Atlantic City, NJ; Las Vegas, NV; Saint Louis, MO; and Oakland, CA? The children there want to have sex with anything. What you believe as far as religion goes is up to you, but as a Christian, I believe that God created us to love, both each other and Him. Homosexuality; unlike pedophilia, beastiality, and polygamy; is not hurting anyone. There is no violation and abuse of power (as with pedophilia and beastiality), and no violation of human rights (as with polygamy). Just as in a heterosexual relationship, a homosexual relationship consists of two consenting adults who love one another.

However, heterosexuals are just as likely to contract the virus as homosexuals, given that it is spread through unprotected anal AND vaginal sex. Giving homosexuals the right to marry would not be giving them a "free pass" to spread HIV to others. If anything, it would contain the spread of the virus, since married couples are less likely to have multiple sexual partners.

Ok very simple. Two men cannot create life. Also the anus is supposed to be a digestive organ not a sex object. Also there are alot of single women out there that can't find a man. There are less available men for women due to the 100:40 ratio of women to men available. This imbalance begins with the homosexual.

Women are no longer property. People of different races can marry. Women can innitiate a divorce. Homosexual marriage is just one more change in a long line of changes within the tradition of marriage.

In pedophilia, a child is being abused, hurt, and taken advantage of; whereas a homosexual relationship takes place between two CONSENTING ADULTS. There is no abuse, and no one is being hurt (outside of the hurt that can be found in any relationship, heterosexual or homosexual).

I got harassed walking along in the downtown area.by a gay man who called me a bitch for no reason. I worked at an office where gay men would give me the cold shoulder for no reason. However, just because the majority of HIV/AIDS infected people are homosexual does not mean that they do not deserve the same amount of funding and care that other critically ill people would receive. Setting aside that homosexuals are equal to heterosexuals in terms of medical treatment, there are heterosexual people with AIDS out there as well.

@TexasPuertoRock Yes, homosexuals do make up the majority of the people infected with HIV/AIDS. However, heterosexuals are just as likely to contract the virus as homosexuals, given that it is spread through unprotected anal AND vaginal sex. Giving homosexuals the right to marry would not be giving them a "free pass" to spread HIV to others. If anything, it would contain the spread of the virus, since married couples are less likely to have multiple sexual partners.

When man and woman were originally created, they were created to populate the earth, just as animals were. However, as you have pointed out, people do not need to "idolize animals on how to live." If someone is sterile that is a medical condition and is not inhibited from being married.
