Even though there's less footage to actually analyze. For my money, the Freeman Bigfoot video looks more realistic than the Patterson-Gimlin video does. In the Patterson footage, we see the creature striding across an open sandbar. But in the Freeman footage, there's a lot of trees nearby that give the footage some scale. When it steps out of the woods into view of Freeman, you can tell that whatever he filmed that day was a very, very large bipedal animal of some sort? TJMO.
Just assuming these full frontal images taken by Todd Standing are real? The one thing I find very compelling is how "human-like" their facial features really are. Their noses and mouths look almost identical to that of a human. Only there big, black eyes and hairy torso's look like primate features. I found that very weird. Because nearly all Bigfoot researchers say their descended from Gigantopithicus. A prehistoric primate. Yet their facial features have so few primate qualities about them.
I think that is a big foot 100% , I've seen some real pics and the facial structure is correct , also when they are young they have grey faces and infants have grey blue faces , but this is in my opinion a real face , also the same face as the july 11th 1995 bigfoot photo taken at Wild Creek area near Mt. i have had hair sent to the univ. of Washington st. CAme back "unknown" primate explaination is a cover. Did you expect the lab at Washington State to have a cataloged Sasquatch DNA sample or something? If the "stupid college" had Sasquatch DNA, there would be no dispute over it being real or not.
The fact that it came back as an "unknown primate" is indicative of the sample being from a possible Sasquatch, seeing as how there are no known wild primates in WA.

I am a romantic and would love to believe such creatures exist. But this conversation began long ago. There were early North American legends. There was Patterson's film (which I regard as a hoax). But we have entered the 21st century. We have the technology to analyze DNA. Mr. Standing can offer all the images he wants. And it will be dramatic and fun to look at. But there needs to be scat, or tissue, or bone or a cadavar analyzed by multiple labs to give this project real credibility.
You do realize the Patterson film has never been proven as a hoax right? As for proof? Hair samples, blood, saliva, and scat has been found in areas where Bigfoot is spotted. These have been studied and the results indicate an unknown primate of some kind. Whether it's Bigfoot or not is speculation, however, if you research these findings you'd know it's been studied.
I realy hope for your sake that the pics. of the face are only a representation of what you might have as evidence. You have expressed concern for their safety and I would think that if you actually had clear video evidence of an up close facial picture that you would express said evidence as "an example" of the actual pics./footage until such time that you know for sure that they will be protected. @menkeechang Think you're wrong, and I think you basically choose to be and make the traditional mistake of thinking it's an animal/ape and therefore it should've been found ages ago, that it's probably not such a creature people are witnessing goes a long way in explaining why there's been no capture. They have these beings in other parts of the world too, like the Almas in Caucasus but it's manlike. 'Every single case so far was a hoax', what are you talking about, we have 1000s of cases...

@penzman He is right, the BFRO has stated to have processed near 25,000 sighting reports, but they are very biased/closed minded on the subject(To strict) and have only published 2-3k. I would estimate about 5k withing the internet forums, and another 6-8k associated with other organizations/books. That is not to mention all of the ones that go unreported/were mis-IDed for bears.
Santana, I don't know but we see two pics here actually and I think in one of them there's a definite Patty resemblance, expect this one's reddish in its hairiness. But this is normal for some Bigfoots. Also, I think Sylvanic's calling them animals still only because we don't know yet what exactly they are, personally I favor the possibility we're dealing with an unknown human species rather than apes (even though technically that's what we are as well). Time will tell what we'll end up with.

I'm with you Todd, the Sasquatch beings are real and this fact obviously is a scary thought to many, so they will do what they can to ridicule the whole subject. @komodoman I believe in the possiblity of things, and bigfoot is one of them. However, this is evidence of nothing. All we see is something hairy hiding in the bushes. It's sad when people want to believe in something so much that they'll see everything as proof, while ignoring the facts. Look at the lower end of the "mouth" and you can plainly see it's a twig. If you photoshop out all the obscuring elements you can see that these folks were stalked by a grizzly bear.
Smelling kinda fishy is right: every shot they've seemed to release (that you don't have to pay for) is some sort of 'art house' pic of the creature conveniently non-centered and obscured even though the photographer is obviously very close and able to change angles to take the snapshots.
I don't know if BF is real or not, but what legit scientists would want to release just enough bad quality stuff to make them look like they were hiding something to collect $ from fervent suckers?
the face shown at the end of the video looks much different from that shown on the coast to coast am website. The coast to coast picture looks like someone photoshoped a lion's head into a forest scene while the one at end here looks like a totally different entity. In this picture the entity has a smaller human like nose while the coast to coast picture it appears to have a snout and much smaller eyes.
Unfortunately, you could have filmed an entire family of Bigfoots, full on, and still very few would believe you. We have been conned too many times, and there are too many ways to fake photos and films. Presenting a Bigfoot live or dead will be the only evidence most will accept. Returning for more evidence would be the next step, if you have the time and money.
I had pics, casts of foot prints from 17-20 inches from heal to toe. But at 12, house caught fire and burned to the ground. Lost everything. The male in the family would come out from the tree line, check out the box of fruit, make a kinda howl,whoop sound and the other 3 would come out from the trees and sit around the box and eat. I was about 20 feet from them at all times. And they would keep an eye on me. I moved at all, they would scatter back to the trees. They don't smell good either.
I have recorded on video a full face shot of a bigfoot as a matter of fact I have recorded the faces of a whole family of bigfoots. all you need to do to see them is to download my vids off of youtube. (bigfoot face shot) I recorded these vids in September of 09, which predates your video.. Check them out if you like. I meet with these bigfoots every summer and we play a cat and mouse game. I have been with in inches of these creatures.
Amazing what can be done with photoshop and alike. When are you "BigFoot Hunters" going to learn that pix are NOT proof of anything. Don't get me wrong, I want to believe. For all you none believers, screw you. I grew up in the Eattonville/Elbe area of Washington State. I have been face to face with a Bigfoot family back in the 70's. They are shy creatures that do not like humans. They tend to run and hide when threatened in any way. I was young and they new that. They love fruit. That is how I coaxed them out and sat there watching them eat apples, bannas, etc.. It was a family of 4. Mom, Dad, and two small ones. Every night I would take a box of fruit to them.

I lean heavily toward hoax. I see two photos of almost the same thing--obscured just enough, with some strange back story. Something about this rings false. And if so, shame on the perpetrators. Hopefully Adrian Erickson can release his documentary sooner rather than later depicting close-up, daytime, high definition video of Sasquatches in Kentucky.
If you were to take a picture of the creature "as is", with nothing in between the camera & the creature, It would not be proof enough at all. If you put the creature in a cage & display it publicly, they still would not believe it, and they'd think it was a guy in a suit. If you were to then put them in the cage with it, they walk out of there not believing they walked out with only one arm. It would take "scientific proof" to convince them they lost an arm by this thing. lol.

Yeah, I'm finding it hard to buy this one too. Surely you didn't just take one picture! No one going out on an expedition with, presumably, a digital camera would snap just one pic of a big foot in a tree. Or was it the case that you didn't know you'd captured that image until after you examined the photos? If so, why were you taking a close up of that section of tree? You forgot the first rule of fakes. Never get to close. The last pic of the face exposes your fake. NO mammal has eyes like that. But costumes do to hide the eyes of the person in the makeup/suit. Next the pic it way to clear and in focus to have been shot at a distance. That means you were very close. ALL reports indicate that bigfoots get violent if you get close to them. And last this is just TOO much of a dramtic posed picture. Find a honest way to get your 15mins of fame.

The image posted on coasttocoastam has obviously been edited and xif data has been mostly stripped. Now this does not necessarily suggest a fake but it would go a long way toward convincing folks it's real if the actual image was posted not a processed one.

@toddster45 Todd, When I saw the picture on Coastam's website, I was'nt sure what I was looking at. It said more details, so I went to get them and watched your video. I must say the video does not explain the picture at all and it speaks more of your adventure and getting lost. The picture looks like a mask sitting on a branch. Surely if you had all of this evidence they were real, you would post something more than just this pic and video that details no evidence. I am a fan of Coast.

@allenst It was shot at f/5 with a limited depth of field. With a digital camera on auto, I would not be surprised if the camera auto focused on the trees a few times. I have that happen to me just taking pics on family vacations. I can't imagine how stupid I would get at running my camera if I finally got to take a picture of a big foot at this close range. Looking at the pic, the black space appears to be a shadow cast from one of the branches in front of the subject.
I downloaded the videos last night and quite enjoyed them. Not only do I know that the Queventelliur (the name according to Ashayana Deane in her book Voyagers Secrets Of Amenti) are real beings, but I completely believe Todd, a former skeptic in what he has captured. These beings are very sensitive to the environment, and from what I understand, can even feel pain from tree branches breaking in the forest. Keep at it Todd, and I look forward to more.

The picture WAS taken on that expedition. The camera i used simply has the wrong date on it. If i had the pic way back in August i would have released it.
@toddster45 The camera date & time is wrong & so is the expedition date....... The beginning of the video narration states that on Tuesday Oct 14 for a 5 day expedition.... Tuesday was October 12th not the 14th..... You would think these dates and times would be a top priority for a researcher wanting his evidence to be taken seriously......

Thank you for you comment. I took over 30 pictures over the 20 minute period this animal was in that position. 6 are very good. The good ones are when his face was in direct sunlight. Direct sunlight is certainly NOT ideal for digital photography, but in my opinion i will never get better then these pics.

WTF is this, Wild Kingdom? I am very disappointed. The creature doesn't even look real. I believe in Bigfoot, however hoaxes and glossed over production pieces due diservice to the hardworking cryptozoologists. A recent MonterQuest episode did a digital enhancement of the Patty film and focused on the face of the creature. This object/thing bares no resemblance and doesn't have prehensile lips. Check out the SusanFarns channel for real and honest bigfoot research with irrefutable evidence.
@bronzecap you do realize that the images of the Bigfoot/Sasquatch(es) that Todd has filmed are not likely of the same being in the Patterson film. These creatures have been sighted in almost every single state in the U.S. as well as all of Canada, and many other parts of the world - meaning that there are quite a few of them.

Even adding to your point, some Sasquatches have been reported to have dark blk hair, some auburn colored hair, the Skunk ape of the south is reported to be smaller & have less hair than the description of Sasquatch often reported in the Pacific North West. However I believe these animals are the same species, just in different parts of the world & would generally have the same facial characteristics.
The prehensile lip is a comon trait on the great apes, and as the digital enhancement of the Patterson film showed "Patty" indeed had this but I don't see this trait in the creature purportedly filmed. I would love to be proven wrong.

The fact that it came back as an "unknown primate" is indicative of the sample being from a possible Sasquatch, seeing as how there are no known wild primates in WA.

I am a romantic and would love to believe such creatures exist. But this conversation began long ago. There were early North American legends. There was Patterson's film (which I regard as a hoax). But we have entered the 21st century. We have the technology to analyze DNA. Mr. Standing can offer all the images he wants. And it will be dramatic and fun to look at. But there needs to be scat, or tissue, or bone or a cadavar analyzed by multiple labs to give this project real credibility.

You do realize the Patterson film has never been proven as a hoax right? As for proof? Hair samples, blood, saliva, and scat has been found in areas where Bigfoot is spotted. These have been studied and the results indicate an unknown primate of some kind. Whether it's Bigfoot or not is speculation, however, if you research these findings you'd know it's been studied.

@penzman He is right, the BFRO has stated to have processed near 25,000 sighting reports, but they are very biased/closed minded on the subject(To strict) and have only published 2-3k. I would estimate about 5k withing the internet forums, and another 6-8k associated with other organizations/books. That is not to mention all of the ones that go unreported/were mis-IDed for bears.

Santana, I don't know but we see two pics here actually and I think in one of them there's a definite Patty resemblance, expect this one's reddish in its hairiness. But this is normal for some Bigfoots. Also, I think Sylvanic's calling them animals still only because we don't know yet what exactly they are, personally I favor the possibility we're dealing with an unknown human species rather than apes (even though technically that's what we are as well). Time will tell what we'll end up with.

My observation is: how did you get 3 pics of it without it noticing you where there - seeing you had to be moving a good distance to have the patch of snow in the best shot you got. When looking at the other pics, there is no patch close by to easily end up in frame 3. Smelling kinda fishy is right: every shot they've seemed to release (that you don't have to pay for) is some sort of 'art house' pic of the creature conveniently non-centered and obscured even though the photographer is obviously very close and able to change angles to take the snapshots.
I don't know if BF is real or not, but what legit scientists would want to release just enough bad quality stuff to make them look like they were hiding something to collect $ from fervent suckers?

the face shown at the end of the video looks much different from that shown on the coast to coast am website. The coast to coast picture looks like someone photoshoped a lion's head into a forest scene while the one at end here looks like a totally different entity. In this picture the entity has a smaller human like nose while the coast to coast picture it appears to have a snout and much smaller eyes.

Unfortunately, you could have filmed an entire family of Bigfoots, full on, and still very few would believe you. We have been conned too many times, and there are too many ways to fake photos and films. Presenting a Bigfoot live or dead will be the only evidence most will accept. Returning for more evidence would be the next step, if you have the time and money.

I had pics, casts of foot prints from 17-20 inches from heal to toe. But at 12, house caught fire and burned to the ground. Lost everything. The male in the family would come out from the tree line, check out the box of fruit, make a kinda howl,whoop sound and the other 3 would come out from the trees and sit around the box and eat. I was about 20 feet from them at all times. And they would keep an eye on me. I moved at all, they would scatter back to the trees. They don't smell good either.

I have recorded on video a full face shot of a bigfoot as a matter of fact I have recorded the faces of a whole family of bigfoots. all you need to do to see them is to download my vids off of youtube. (bigfoot face shot) I recorded these vids in September of 09, which predates your video.. Check them out if you like. I meet with these bigfoots every summer and we play a cat and mouse game. For all you none believers, screw you. I grew up in the Eattonville/Elbe area of Washington State. I have been face to face with a Bigfoot family back in the 70's. They are shy creatures that do not like humans. They tend to run and hide when threatened in any way. I was young and they new that. They love fruit. That is how I coaxed them out and sat there watching them eat apples, bannas, etc.. It was a family of 4. Mom, Dad, and two small ones. Every night I would take a box of fruit to them.

If you were to take a picture of the creature "as is", with nothing in between the camera & the creature, It would not be proof enough at all. If you put the creature in a cage & display it publicly, they still would not believe it, and they'd think it was a guy in a suit. If you were to then put them in the cage with it, they walk out of there not believing they walked out with only one arm. It would take "scientific proof" to convince them they lost an arm by this thing. lol.

You forgot the first rule of fakes. Never get to close. The last pic of the face exposes your fake. NO mammal has eyes like that. But costumes do to hide the eyes of the person in the makeup/suit. Next the pic it way to clear and in focus to have been shot at a distance. That means you were very close. ALL reports indicate that bigfoots get violent if you get close to them. And last this is just TOO much of a dramtic posed picture. Find a honest way to get your 15mins of fame.

I must say the video does not explain the picture at all and it speaks more of your adventure and getting lost. The picture looks like a mask sitting on a branch. @allenst It was shot at f/5 with a limited depth of field. With a digital camera on auto, I would not be surprised if the camera auto focused on the trees a few times. I have that happen to me just taking pics on family vacations. I can't imagine how stupid I would get at running my camera if I finally got to take a picture of a big foot at this close range. Looking at the pic, the black space appears to be a shadow cast from one of the branches in front of the subject.

Not only do I know that the Queventelliur (the name according to Ashayana Deane in her book Voyagers Secrets Of Amenti) are real beings, but I completely believe Todd, a former skeptic in what he has captured. @folz208 I am in no way connected to Todd. But for somebody to come out, after seeing this teaser video, you have come to the conclusion that it's fake. You have to be some simpleton who has nothing better to do, so you use youtube to throw your negativity around. You don't know what a bigfoot looks like, so how do you know this is fake, from just a youtube video?? This type of comment belongs on toilet paper! But not worth as much. Ask questions, let him answer and ask more. Sheesh

How can you explain it?
Taking a look at the EXIF data of the original picture, we can see that:
1. The original picture was taken in 2010/08/18.
2. Was last modified in 2010/10/22.
The official site says he did the expedition in October, for 8 days.
But the picture, was taken in August!

The picture WAS taken on that expedition. The camera i used simply has the wrong date on it. If i had the pic way back in August i would have released it.

@toddster45 The camera date & time is wrong & so is the expedition date....... The beginning of the video narration states that on Tuesday Oct 14 for a 5 day expedition.... Tuesday was October 12th not the 14th..... You would think these dates and times would be a top priority for a researcher wanting his evidence to be taken seriously......

@toddster45 Todd, I am glade you made it out of the back country ok but I really hope you have the goods. Many of us have been burnt by fakes in the recent years and are pretty jaded. Your picture is so clear it looks fake and without supporting evidence such as more pictures and video, it's doubtful this one pic is going to cut it.
Will you be producing more then just marketing spots anytime soon?

Thank you for you comment. I took over 30 pictures over the 20 minute period this animal was in that position. 6 are very good. The good ones are when his face was in direct sunlight. Direct sunlight is certainly NOT ideal for digital photography, but in my opinion i will never get better then these pics.
I intend to produce at least a 20 minute segment with the live action video shots i have and more...
Please be patient, i am very behind and still recovering from my injuries.

It's been over a month & I trust you are on the mend. What's the status of your new segment? I had thought it would be ready prior to your C2C segment?
At this point, the longer you wait, the less credibility you generate. If your concern is to prove existence of bigfoot and secure legislation for their protection, then your delay is counterproductive to your objective now.
It's time to show your cards, if you have a winning hand, go all in, anything else looks like a bluff.

Todd, I have truely authentic photo's of bigfoot, who is an ape. It's already done, my friend.
I have a handprint, a toe print. Digital media, and even having native indians confirming the media, doesn't prove anything. Digital media will never be accepted by science.

WTF is this, Wild Kingdom? I am very disappointed. The creature doesn't even look real. I believe in Bigfoot, however hoaxes and glossed over production pieces due diservice to the hardworking cryptozoologists. A recent MonterQuest episode did a digital enhancement of the Patty film and focused on the face of the creature. This object/thing bares no resemblance and doesn't have prehensile lips. Check out the SusanFarns channel for real and honest bigfoot research with irrefutable evidence.

@bronzecap you do realize that the images of the Bigfoot/Sasquatch(es) that Todd has filmed are not likely of the same being in the Patterson film. These creatures have been sighted in almost every single state in the U.S. as well as all of Canada, and many other parts of the world - meaning that there are quite a few of them.

@spamystyle I understand that. Even adding to your point, some Sasquatches have been reported to have dark blk hair, some auburn colored hair, the Skunk ape of the south is reported to be smaller & have less hair than the description of Sasquatch often reported in the Pacific North West. However I believe these animals are the same species, just in different parts of the world & would generally have the same facial characteristics.

The prehensile lip is a comon trait on the great apes, and as the digital enhancement of the Patterson film showed "Patty" indeed had this but I don't see this trait in the creature purportedly filmed. I would love to be proven wrong.
