There is a base agreement in christianity that you in fact PERSONALLY DESERVE TO BE TORTURED FOREVER. Throwing your arms up and not challenging that is the most rude, hatefilled assertion a person can condone. How can it not be offensive to present that to a stranger? As an atheist I would never support any document that claims human beings deserve to be tortured.

Instead of being anti-christ how about you just pick up the bible and read it THEN make your judgement. The problem with a lot of people is they judge a religion and don't know the history. If you haven't tried to get to know God and why we believe then you have no credibility to say why he isn't real to Christians. You are now making an assumption that you can't back up with fact. also re-evaluate what type of "christians" you are confiding in & listening too. False prophets are real.

Also there are many religious text because those who strayed from God and decided not to believe in him started their own mock religion. And the suffering part doesn't always have to mean hell, it can be suffering on hell. Also suffer doesn't always have to be physical pain, it can be spiritual warfare & troubles.

The bible doesn't mention things about stars and unimportant man made items because they are man made. The bible is a book teaching you how to live your life and get back to heaven where we came from. It is a story of our father God and his son Jesus Christ and how we came about. Man has a tendency to do things and make mistakes and go back to blame it on God. I respect your opinion but if you accept him, try him and ask him to reveal himself to you.. he will answer.

I understand your disappointment. I do not consider myself a Christian nor a Muslim. But have taken some time to study into both texts. The truth is the more I studied the less I believed. First of all other than the Bible their is no other historical record of a person named Jesus Christ or the Jewish version of that name. As you said man has been writing and drawing as long as we have existed. If he did exist there must be other significant writings from people of his time about his miracles

The Muslims do believe in Jesus Christ. A misconception is that they do not believe in him at all. The difference is that the Muslims believe him to be a Prophet like Moses. They do not consider him God as Christians do. Doing my studies I have found that the Bible also says Jesus is not God in some places but then contradicts itself. As an example I recommend Luke 7:16 although this verse does not say directly that Jesus is not God. It does call him a Prophet.

Mark 10:17-30 in this verse Jesus says “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone” If Jesus were God why would he say that? And Luke 4:1-13 In this verse the devil tries to tempt Jesus. Just read the verse it is self explanatory. Just remember if Jesus were God why would he tempt himself? On the other side of the coin Read Corinthians 8:1-6. My opinion is that If Jesus did exist. He was here to teach us.

But there were those who being controlled by the Devil. Changed the Bible to put Jesus’s true teachings on the back burner. And use rules and laws put into the Bible to control and mislead people. I recommend only following the verses where Jesus is actually speaking. This paints a totally different picture of Jesus and one that I believe if he did exist is more fact based.

Now lets talk about the Quran. The Quran claims that there were Prophets sent to every culture of the world including Jesus, Moses, Mohammad etc. But go on to claim that there version is the only unchanged version because they still have the original Quran. And Claim that the Quran must be true because it talks about Science and other things that should have been impossible to know back then. In my opinion while this is quite convincing.

The Truth of the matter is that Both the Bible and Quran. Speak of doing horrible things to people as punishment including stoning. If God is all powerful do you really think it needs a middle man to carry out it’s punishment? The Bible and Quran say that Women are inferior to man. And the Bible goes on the say that Women are not to speak in Church. I don’t remember the exact verse but I read this. As an example of the crazy things the Bible says I give you this verse Corinthians 11:1-34.

I have a hard time believing that God would Create man as dominant of Women. And not an equal. In my opinion we are all children of God. I believe our society is strongest when Women and Men work together for a reason. If you pay attention to the differences between Men and Women and I don’t mean physical. It is obvious to me that the Man and Women Personality and thought process is two sides of the same coin. They fit together like a puzzle.

I'm always bothered about the Abrahamic religions. They all bicker and act like they are right. I'm actually very sympathetic to Confucianism, since it's more of a belief system. There is no bullshit in the Analects, just a lot of good moral values.

The bible was written by over forty authors, centuries after the events. These authors cannot agree on the story, and the followers of the book cannot agree on the teachings. In this sense, they're all atheists in any god's eyesanyway. We're all going to heaven or hell or nowhere together people.

That is something I've never understood. So who's religion is 100% correct? If god is perfect, would god (at the very least) made it abundantly obvious which religion is 100% correct? If we found a stone that had only one writing on it which said which religion is 100% correct and this stone was indestructible by man, then I'd have no problems becoming religious and learning the teachings of that religion. But until then I believe in how awesome you are.

It doesn't matter what denomination, that is completely irrelevant. The fact of the matter is that 9 times out of 10 I am threatened by Christians. I don't know what every individual believes and that doesn't matter - they all identify as Christians.

Demanding branches of Christianity is a sort of No True Scotsman fallacy - you're redefining what Christianity is so you can distance yourself from the crazy shit that many Christians often say. I recognize there are loons, but they are Christians.

Is wrong and against pretty much every aspect of what Jesus as I belive did for me. I also as an American hate the idea of peoples views be trashed cause that isn't what any good American belives. I say 'blah blah blah' because it involves superstitious threats of a wide array. It is nonsense to sit around while some person accuses you of committing such a crime against an invisible being that you'll burn in hell forever. That is 100% 'blah blah blah.'

The reason I make videos about atheism is because I am in opposition to misinformation. I make these videos to clarify positions of atheism. I have never been religious, was not raised religious, and definitely do not 'partially believe'.

I don't believe in souls. I can entertain the idea of reincarnation in some form, but I don't believe it either. Nothing about the world or universe necessitates supernatural explanations - before we were born, what was there? There was nothing, we didn't exist. I believe this will be the case when we die. We cease to exist. I don't know why I am conscious but I do know that there was a time when I wasn't.

That time will return soon.

I actually agree with you here that it's nonsense to sit around while people keep on accusing you of things you disagree with. If you have an issue with someone, it's always best to take a stand. There are times to "take it like a man", but this isn't one of them.

There are over 5700 different versions of the new testament texts no two completely agree. Some passages were added as much as 1000 years later. No originals exist, nor copies of copies of copies of copies. Many events described in the bible directly contradict science and/or history, for example the census they claim is the reason Jesus was born in Bethlehem never happened, the creation story is utterly impossible and disease is not caused by sin. There is no way the bible is true in any sense.

What I think is confusing is how could any religious text such as Christianity Bibles convert atheists/agnostics to believe in the Abrahamic God, if they don't believe in the Yahweh who put Adam and Eve on Earth, 'cause then there would be no point to send Jesus to die for sins, if people believed there was no sin committed in the first place. @HaleyMary i do, i believe that GOD created earth and the species and things in it, BUT there is no 'Jesus' aka 'magic man'. it's all in people's heads, however i still believe that people derserve some type of decent morals.
