Bad point, because Mayer is still a better guitarist overall. Slash has made some awesome and world reknown riffs such as Sweet Child Of Mine and Paradise City - songs everybody knows, and introes everyone remembers! But Mayer is a much better guitarist technically, he plays with several different techniques, and has way more sound variety, yet if speed the only thing you think defines good guitarists, you would still know Mayer is as fast, if not way faster than Slash at playing too
