i wrote to the council proposing they have a tram system that runs underground like the london tube they could get the unemployed to dig the tunnels could be up and running in a matter of months whith no disruption thumbs up if you agree then they might listen
@mrmagicroundcircle I doubt it would be a matter of months. There would be an awful lot of planning and depite possibly less disruption it would take longer, not to mention the high costs.
So when the tram comes along there where are the people who have lived there for many years expected to park there cars. Why should they suffer. Same as chilwell high road and other places that will be demolished. Its beyond a bloody joke.
My question is........... who will pay for this tram route?
I bet it will not just be the users of the tram.

@mrmagicroundcircle That would probably be a lot more expensive and in this day and age I'm not sure they could afford that!
