You could make loops out of yarn. but it seems like a lot of work. The loops are an easier way to do the project with children. An adult ( or a child with dexterity) would not need loops of yarn. You could just use the yarn as it is to finger knit. Slip knot yarn to thumb and put yarn around each finger and then proceed. I will try to come up with a video or you might find a book on how to do this.
Hi. I have gotten these before as a present, but i don not know where to get them. I know you said where to get them, but is there any where else you know to buy them?
I do not have the store you mentioned nearby. Thanks.
Hi,this is just what I was looking for. Unfortunately, it is really small. so i can't see the details... is there anyway you cut post it, with better resolution or at least photos???
I will try. My camera person won;t be available until Thanksgiving so it might take until then.
See if this printed description helps what your are seeing until then:
The idea is to twist and poke your finger into the loop. Poke, Twist, poke, twist, poke, twist, poke.
You put 2 loops on, then lift the oldest loop over each finger so you have one loop on your fingers. THen add another loop. You should never have more than 2 loops on your fingers at once.
Can you just make loops by tying yarn in loops?
