It was just off of Macarthur Blvd. I only went there a couple times as a kid. We use to go to Marshall Hall. remember the Wilson Line? Later on I worked at the Defense Mapping Agency just a mile or so away from Glen Echo. I believe the only place Elvis played in the DC area was onboard the Wilson Line. Wilson Line went from Main Ave SW to Marshall Hall. Marshall Hall had slot machines....
I was only ten years old, I do remember the amusement park, but can't for the life of me remember the location. WPGC was my favorite radio station and they were just about to play one of my songs...96 Tears. Thanks for the memories.
