  • Hello, what digital camera is best to get better eye color, face & body? thnak's

  • im sorry but once i heard "aperture priority" and it "does everything for you!" i decided to opt for another video...

  • @mhammad1207 There is more than one way to use the settings on your camera to make it easier on the photographer. I have several professional photographer friends that implement this setting when using a fill flash/strobe lighting. Using Aperture Priority does not take away from their professionalism. It would be a different story if he was using the portrait setting on the camera. Now if I heard that then I would definitely check out another video. lol

  • that is awesome

  • The video icon looks like he is holding a big macaroni!

  • Thank you for the video I benefited a lot from it

  • everything on auto? are you serious?! no no no.

  • why is she smiling aaaaaaall the time? :-P

  • hahahah guy sleeping at back

  • One moment he's talking about 'natural light' and then the next moment, he brings in a flash...*sigh*

  • how large is the reflector? 42 inches?

  • Great lesson but the bum in the background could use a little fill light.

  • Sam Is Fine!

  • Thank you for your awesome video explication! Verry good !

  • Sam is always smiling!!!!! Very good model... Thank you for the great video!

  • 1:00 was the wrong time to start talking about difusing light.

  • Beautiful Model!

  • 6:16

  • This is great... helped tremendously!

"What angles should lights be placed when using 'continuous' soft box and umbrella for beginning studio shots?

  • With a model like Sam all pictures come out nice. Even using a cheap camera and no flash.

  • Great tutorial. But I really don't like fill flash, it gives a unnatural feeling

  • Is her name Sam...or DAMN!!!

  • I would like to take a picture of this beautiful woman!!!

  • Awesome, I am just learning and I remember I ask my model to look to the sun just for a moment... no need to tell you it was a total failure. Thanks Mark!

  • nice episode mark... nice model too, i must say she is by far your best model among the others you featured... she's a natural... =)

  • Great videos! Thank you! : )

  • Great videos! Thank you! : )

  • Wanted to point one thing out for those who are just getting started: The "fill flash" isn't a type of flash. He means that he's using his flash AS a fill flash, or fill light.

  • Hey mark is that the Speedlite 580ex ii? If so, can I get the same effect from the 430ex ii?

  • @ncummins80 You can get the same effect with the 430. In most cases, you'll notice very little difference in the results you get from one compared to the other.

  • Nice Video Mark, Great Job, Beautiful Model

  • Don't like using that pro body anymore?

  • What lens are you using here Mark!

  • @Macintoshtip 24-70 L

  • all about portrait ! very nice !

  • But fill flash pics are horrible!

  • Dock that man a day's pay for nappin' on the job!

  • My favorite look is with the diffusion panel.

  • Great video as always. Gorgeous model makes it all the better ;)

  • Sam = HOT!!!

  • Lens Hoods also make the lens look a lot better!

    Are you using the 24-70mm?

  • and these tutorial are the best ive found on youtube :D

  • sam is super hot :D

  • The gold side of the reflector compliments the colour of persons with dark skin colour. Maybe in the future it would be good to cover this aspect.

  • thanks mark, this video really helped clear up some stuff for me in outdoor shooting :)

by the way, what was the size of the reflector that you were using?

i'm about to buy one and i'm not sure which size to get.
