Tim Burten, James Camermon.. Please bring this to the big screen!!!! and not just another video game movie.. its needs to be epic, like Lord of the rings or HARRY potter!!!
I have such a hard time thinking which music is better in these PLAY! medleys, Zelda or Chrono, so I'll just decide that the music is equal. But I think this Zelda medley is arranged a billion times better than the Chrono one.
this is just amazing. i have the cd but hearing it live is great. the only problem i have is that in the beginning they used a flute and not an ocarina
I'm a grown man and parts of this bring tears to my eyes and give me goosebumps. I can't help but have a big smile on my face when I listen to it. It brings back awesome memories from my childhood - this is incredibly epic and well done. I just wish the audience would have STFU, even though I know they meant well.

@mariozeldasonic Pretty sure its Zelda 2, the very beginning when it starts w/ just the sword. But around 3:06 I'm not sure what that is - is that the same game?
You CAN go see something like this. "Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy" plays in Chicago on December 12th. Same conductor as in this video, Arnie Roth. Seriously, if you can make it you'll have a night to treasure for years to come.
Wow! Ive never been so touched by a memory until i just heard this song. Such good times back in the day as a little boy. This just emphasizes my happiness so much. =)
Legend of Zelda Majoras Mask. It was my first video game ever as a kid and played it with all my hearts content. Sadly i never finished it though but i intend to now. LoZ has some of the most memorable songs. You can never just forget them. It is so iconic
For a moment I was thinking "...the cheering audience is ruining my music-experience D8" but I forgive them, because I can really understand their reasons.
This is a live medley of the best of "Hyrule Symphony", right? I love that CD to death, even though I think some of the orchestrations were "weaker" than others- But this live-version /really/ brings out the best parts of the best tracks. My only complaint that the Gerudo Valley theme wasn't covered, but this is awesome regardless.
If you're saying Ocarina had better music than I disagree... And if you're saying that this particular part of the music is *from* Ocarina, you're wrong, it's the Darkworld Theme introduced in Link to the Past.
yea i know what you mean. But think of it. Compare to the new generation (xbox/ps/gamecube and above), we are the old generation. More like the second generation gamers.
I think there will be a new wave of generation kids who dont play with controller in their hands. But with their body
Can anyone possibly filter out the audience? I really wish they would have kept quiet. I mean, yes this is probably one of the most epic things you'll ever hear, but save the emotion for the end people!
does anyone else think the conductor is hunched over and wearing that black cloak with a bald head in a perfect impression of dampe the gravekeeper in ocarina of time?
funny it's called a woodwind.... shouldn't the flute be called a "silverwind"? Hahaha just random thoughts. I'm not bashing the flute, thats going to be my major in college. That flautist, is incredible. Gorgeous tone... I love it
perhaps because before they were made of metal they were made of.......wood? and a silver flute, hmm pricey... perhaps pipewind.... there's a pipe organ right?
those of us who remeber this game are still in love with it today and most of us probably still play it. I just wish they would put the game back out there for people who neve rgot to play it on the 64.
I haven't cried in years, but while I watched this I suddently felt something on my cheek, and it was a tear.
