Lies! I love this game! it is not lazy animation! You can have legendary pokemon join your team, receive wondermail from passwords found on google, and become some really awesome pokemon. If you have explorers of time/darkness though, don't buy it, because there are only a few new features.

This is my favorite pokemon game! I didn't even notice the "old school graphics", but the storyline was amazing!! But he's probably right about it not being much different than the other versions, I only have Explorers of Sky.

One thing I would like to say is that this review is absolutely terrible! I loved the game. It had an amazing story and also had many dungeons that were difficult to complete such as the Zero Isles. I thought the extra side stories were very interesting and fun. Would you guys like to see a new mystery dungeon with the exact same graphics as in Explorers of sky, Blue Rescue Team, etc except with the dungeons in 3D on the 3DS? I ask because I love the way the graphics of the games already are
Sometimes i hate IGN and their bias reviews. It pisses me off when they diss such a fantastic game like this one for something as run of the mill as COD. You disappoint me prepubescent reviewer.
And on another note, it sometimes doesn't work out when Pokemon try to transition to 3D models. It just doesn't. Its better when they stick to sprite work, and the sprites are fantastic in the game. So again, aside from a few minor annoyances, this game is pretty perfect. About a 9.7, like I said before.
I personally found this game very satisfying, even more so since I never picked up either Time or Darkness before this came out. I really like the whole concept of "you never enter the same dungeon twice", and even though the story kinda had its ups and downs, I still enjoyed this game. I wouldn't give it a perfect 10, but I think I would settle this as about a 9.7. Only a few minor issues came up for me, and I still hate the "Ultimate Dungeon" concept they used, but it was still a great game.

If you haven't played Explorers of Time/Darkness yet, or simply haven't played it in a while and want to replay it and experience the awesome story and stuff again, then I'd say get it. :)
I have got to say I disagree with you on this review. Yes explorers of sky is not perfect but it is a dang good play. The special episodes are worth replaying the game and even if they were not this game is pretty fun to play either way. Also you don't need to grind levels all that much since due to the huge story that you did not mention you can easily get to level 60 if not higher in the main story. Also the plot twist found in this game was jawdropping and of course you left that out too.

I do not agree with this review at all. I've played this game for many hours now and i love it, the music and the plot are awesome. Even the graphic is ok. To rate this game a 4.9 must mean you either skip the story, haven't finished the game or just think about the graphics.

@shadowvampwolf Well, it has some other shizz as well, and it's definitely better than Explorers of Time/Darkness, so if you're a die hard fan or something get it. And yeah, the other characters' stories are cool and it adds more to the story. :)
If you haven't played Explorers of Time/Darkness yet, or simply haven't played it in a while and want to replay it and experience the awesome story and stuff again, then I'd say get it. :)

I have got to say I disagree with you on this review. Yes explorers of sky is not perfect but it is a dang good play. The special episodes are worth replaying the game and even if they were not this game is pretty fun to play either way. Also you don't need to grind levels all that much since due to the huge story that you did not mention you can easily get to level 60 if not higher in the main story. Also the plot twist found in this game was jawdropping and of course you left that out too.

Hi, I'm a gay ass 12 year old who wants to review a 13 hour game in 3 minutes. I only got up to Apple Woods, but I just want to assume that all dungeons are just like the first four. I haven't even played the game far enough to notice the significant changes that Sky offers from Darkness and Time. Now that I'm done with my half-ass review, I'm gonna go jack-off to COD just like all my other 11 year old friends.

I do not agree with this review at all. I've played this game for many hours now and i love it, the music and the plot are awesome. Even the graphic is ok. To rate this game a 4.9 must mean you either skip the story, haven't finished the game or just think about the graphics.

Wow, this is the worst review I've ever seen of this game. NO mention of the beautiful, and often touching music, NO mention of the incredible story that I'm not ashamed to admit made me cry the odd manly tear at times, NO.
Instead, all they talk about are the graphics, saying they're lazy, they're NOT; they're SPRITES dumbass. What happens when Pokemon tries to use polygons? Crap, exactly. Also, these sprites are pretty beautiful and surprisingly detailed.

Um, guys? PMD is my favorite part of the Pokemon franchise simply because of the story, but everything this guy said in the video is pretty true. The only to buy this game if you already have Time or Darkness is for the special episodes, which are pretty cool.
