For me the most significant statement by Dr Kaku is that we are dependent on just a few crops, Wheat, Rice, Soya - that is a very important statement and I think her question "should we diversify our diet" is a very important statement. this is typical fox news. hes talking about something that seems to be irrelevent to a massive meteor crashing to earth. we could be whiped out simply by a massive emp type event. knocking out communications devices. only the techology like solar and wind will actualy be usefull because everything else needs power to operate while sun and wind and hydro is renewable and free. and how much of the world could support itself when that happens, very very little.(humans anyways)

It's very funny to me how he goes on taslking about all of this water in the world and what it would tske to desalinate it, etc.... what a crock. Waer desalination is as simple as basic as the evaporation process. Also he mentions controlling flooding as a weapon but she interrupts him shortly after. If global warming is a threat I am convinced that it's a modern man made occurence. Look up the name Nikola Tesla for further information. He was Russian scientist who was conducting weather modifications in the 1940's. In Vietnam, the US Armed Forces attempted to use climate warfare during Operation Popeye. I don't know if HAARP is currently doing such activities but it wouldn't suprise me. According to a source from a recent RT report, Russia is still modifying weather in our modern age.
