Finally found the perfect match to my 8" Raw bell at 640g. Just snagged a 6" Raw Bell at 540g...tri-tone appart and they sound UNREAL together in my effects tree.
how much is this sir??? and what do you think is the best, the zil bel? black metal stagg? sabian bell? or this one??? i cant decide, pls help me sir! =)
Sorry no cigar on that.comment...... In the flesh they sound AMAZING acoustically heard in the overall mix and certainly not overpowering mixed in with drums and cymbals within the context of the music.
These comments from an actual pro player/owner of a 8" Raw Bell.
yeah...the zils are WAY too loud and piercing for my taste...just got into these about a month ago and I really want to upgrade to an entire set up of Alchlemy cymbals
Yeah man! Get like a cymbal holder...a clamp with a small boom arm and put anywhere on the kit! Put it like this...or put it upside down!
There awesome for quick accents....nothing wrong with them! The dynamic changes when your playing live...it might sound too bright here! but in the middle of a song! Might sound Amazing as a quick accent!
Yes and you can also use Gibraltar 6" cymbal stackers {stacked} like I did for mounting a 8" Raw Bell on top over a 10" Alchemy Pro Power Splash with my 20" Traditional China Pang on the bottom of the stand. Love my 8" Alchemy Raw Bell by the way at 640g!
break fast?............? those are very thin bells

Cool. Sorry for the misunderstanding PBO277......

I would guess so. The extra ring would definitely be drowned out if it was played in the mix.

Or if you don't have second ride you can use one of these as second ride like drummer of Pestilence does.
6ghoul6lord6 2 years ago
Yep! Thats why drums/cymbals are all so different...you can set them up thousand different ways, tune them differently...endless possibilities!!!
