  • I have to ask. Do those gauges, in the cockpit, really work?

  • @kirrok No ,but I am glad you thought they might which was the intention . they took a lot of making, but enjoyable.

  • This is beautiful.

  • @multiplemigs38 Thanks, If you look for " Flair tiger moth stunning detail " you can see it flying.

  • HERMOSO AVION EXCELENTE VIDEO LASTIMA QUE NO VOLO

  • Do you have a build log somewhere on the net?

  • WOW! most scale / detailed 1/4 scale Tiger moth i have ever seen!

  • hi bud im building the same kit where did you get the door catches from

  • @rachelavastef I made them, I found some ally which was square with a hole thro' and a slot on one side. made wire catches put fuel tube between them to act as spring so as you squeeze them together and shut the door they spring out again to lock it. Great fun to make

  • @rachelavastef If you mean the locker door, again ~I made these, in fact they were the first thing I made even befor I built the model. the lever is shaped from brass, the bracket from copper sheet ( easier to work) and wire for the catch. If you get things right they snap shut and stay shut ! even more fun to make ,but fiddly.

  • @johniejohnson many thanks how do you fancy making these components again ? your a true engineer bet you made that wonderfull cowl to id like on on my tigge iwould pay lots of mony for all these scale parts

  • Thanks for your reply Johnie

Can I ask what paint you used?

    Regards

  • @jeep200000 No paint used, yellow solatex

  • @johniejohnson

Thanks again, I've just got my kit, will order a Laser 180 tomorrow.

what prop are you using? I'm thinking of using a Master Airscrew 18x8 maybe the classic range.

  • @jeep200000 A 180 will turn a clasic 20x6 at 7000rpm would look more scale like with a big prop

  • How do I go about making a stel cowl for my Tiger Moth?

  • @jeep200000 Make a wooden template to the shape of the front end ,clamp ally to top half and beat it down, takes forever. form lower portion then weld the two together or rivet. The rest is easy. rivet or weld small plates inside to hold it together. dummy hinge one side real hinge the other great for getting to engine.

  • wow amazing detail!!! like the cotpit u shoud put a camra in it! will be insain

  • Süper details.. I like it..
