Peter Gabriel, tienes una admiradora cubana que te adora, que vive enamorada de usted, me gustaría poder contactar con usted, sería la mujer más feliz del planeta.
I only watched this clip once - now I like "Moribund" even more than before. Sad that he did not play this one in my concert in 2007. A fine and solid live-performance. - ". . .I WILL FIND OUT !"
Wow, I always thought of this as an old, obscure Gabriel song. It's cool that he sung it live so recently.
Just a thought, but does this song remind anyone of Beowulf? The people in the square/Heorot are all happy-dancey and Moribund/Grendel gets angry at them so he tries to rain on their parade, meanwhile his mother is a more powerful ruler/monster than her son.
He said he wouldn't rejoin BEFORE 2008...there's still hope for that fantasy to become reality. (But the bad thing about a full re-union is that: one, everybody's getting older, and two, will Peter be willing to inject some of those good ol' PG theatrics into the concerts?) Anyway, Peter sounds great! I'm glad that he's reprised this old song. Thanks for posting, jeff.
they were ready to do it in this current genesis reunion tour. Then they did some focus groups & learned that that aging yupies actually wanted the 1980s phil collins edition so that ended that. Maybe just as well, you cant reheat a souffle
Older Gabriel, especially with Larry "Synergy" Fast is my fav! I wish he was playing with him. You guys should check out his website. I saw this song played in 1978!

I like Gabriel, but I like him (and Collins and the others) the best when they are in Genesis. That's when they were at their best IMO.
Would be nice to see a reunion of the five.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Collins and genesis SUCK without Gabriel. Collins is talentless and shallow.

You've never heard Brand X. I agree though, over time Collins got real lazy.....
