i live near an army base where they have some of these. i hear that gun in the distance all the time. it is usually in a lot longer bursts than they did at this show. its like a full second or so.

a-10 r so bad ass, i remeber my dad telling me that when he went to england, the a-10s would practice strafing on the cars, you wouldnt even here them hovering over you lol

I know the guy announcing this show...it's Bill Lowe (pronounced Lao)...he used to announce the Wings Of Eagles airshows at Geneseo,NY, then in Batavia, NY, and finally in Elmira (ok...technically it's Big Flats, NY) before they organization did what the pyro guys did in this video...practically blew everything to hell XD...Bill also used to host an AM radio talk show at WHAM radio in Rochester, NY...sad to see him forced out.

no doubt the F-15 ruined the local airshow experience. i fear the days of superb pyrotechnic shows like this are over...the sad part is that they cant fly other A-10s in from other regions to fill this purpose, at least not for the 2008 Westover show

Its kind of sobering but if you listen to the announcer at 3:51 he mentions at the time Blue Angels annoncer Kevin Davis which when I heard my emotions went from 'yeah kick ass' to that of contempltion ,once again Steve great video for both reasons.
