  • It was a moving ceremony, without a doubt. We've had 11of those here in Detroit, so us Red Wing fans know exactly how Chi town feels. Maybe you'll have that many some day. Let's see; once every 49 years---no, probably not.

    Wings didn't spoil the party. The banner is still up there, will always be up there and they can't change that. The party was over and at the puck drop and a new season is on.
