  • very nice

  • Something magical about the sound of valves!

  • Hi 350650, nice work, congratulations ! I have many branded amplifiers, but I like to listen to a little EL84 SE triode straped that I built.

You can see it at my chanel kerkalianer.

  • How cool is that??

I would love to be able to do something like that, but i wouldnt know where to start. Really good job although dubious taste in music ;0)

  • What song is this?

  • What song is this? Great tube amp and full range speakers.

  • What song is this? Great tube amp and full range speakers.

  • @jrocciolo

    Artist - Nu sound

Song name - Breathe With Me

  • You don't really have a Full Range Guy here but looking at your beautiful speakers while listening to this great music... I think i'm a step away of studying for Seas Cabinets and getting the necessary components for a DIY Tube Amp.

    Soooo nice!

  • @truebassB Truly said its not a full range driver technically cause it does not produce higher freq upto 20k. I was experimenting n that's my first diy speaker amp project and that is why i tried this speaker couse it was in my budget n cheap. Being an amateur i didnt wanted to ruin a fostex driver and i am 21yrs old so i think there is a lot to learn ahead. Seas also manufacture exotic full range drivers , you are studying their designs on fr drivers?

  • Please do post some pictures of your tube amp project. :-)

Thanks for watching the video and your interest in diy audio. :-)

  • @350650 Hello. No,thank YOU for this awesome video. :D

If i proceed with anything DIY related i'll upload videos like always,so there's 100% chance that you'll see anything i'll make on my channel :D

  • @truebassB I am glad you liked the videos. :-)

  • way cool! - beautiful drivers, nice way to do the amp - what's happening in that cabinet's innards?

  • @gnativerson The speaker cabinet is a simple sealed enclosure with some dampening material & 81 ltrs in volume. Thanks for your interest in the diy.

  • triode mode or pentode mode? i'm gathering parts for my first build. just a few more and i'm good to go. just have to decide what schematic to use.

    Congrats by the way :P

  • @B04RWN Sorry for replying late.It is triode mode and i think its better if you want every detail in music. Thanks for watching the video hope you like it.

  • The el 84 always please. Are those Fostex drivers? Planning my first DIY build this spring. with a 3 wpc SET. BTW nice choice in music!

  • @TheAuditory Thanks for watching the video. The drivers are 10 inch Bolton(s) which are no more in production. I would like to recommend you a book before starting your diy project which i also purchased and it was really helpful "Build Your Own Valve Amplifier by Rainer Zur Linde". Please do post video of your amplifier project.

  • Nice drivers. Where did you buy them from? Are they very sensitive?

  • @olanzip i bought them from a bolton dealer in delhi unfortunately the bolton company stopped their production line a long time back [5-6 years]. I was really lucky coz it was the last set of speakers that shopkeeper had with him. they are high senstivity 93-96db i guess. Bolton was a chennai based speaker manufacturer.

  • no on/off switch n a volume pot thats not fixed. a lot of work still is remaining.
