Do you play using sheetmusic or tablature ? or maybe both ?

I'm best at tablature, but I want to convert to sheetmusic, because I play piano as well.

My issue is that I don't know all the notes of the guitar-neck, and that makes it difficult for me, to play guitar using sheetmusic. I hope that makes sense :-) Any help is appreciated :-)

I ONLY USE sheet music. NEVER tab. To me Tab dosen't make sense really. I need to see the harmonies and since I know where the notes are on the guitar, I don't need tabs to tell me that :-)

I really think you should try to convert! Go to the library and borrow a guitar book for beginners and learn the fret board. It's not the difficult.
