well the footage is 20 yrs old and theres even a studio version on youtube copied straight from a dvd you still cant hardly heard the notes on the D or A string
Mr. Lynch is probably one of the most unknown , ,great guitarists of all time! He was always one of my heroes. His classical licks, combined with a metal influence are simply amazing.
@colejoshrocks You mean "what COUNTRY" ! I'm from France and I also think he's unknown. Because nobody know's GL here. If you're in a country where GL is known, congratulations, you're lucky ... where are you from ? I'll come someday xD
@battlefrontwing Come on Hes been one of the top 10 hard rock guitarists since 1984.Really? I know of all the other players from other countries: Yngwie,Nuno,Eddie,Schenker, even the chap from Loudness!
@colejoshrocks YOU ARE JUST LUCKY :) If everybody know this type of guitarists in your country. But in mine, it's different ... Everybody here talk about hip/hop, rap, and many others shit ...
@1958timmy george lynch and jake e. lee, both great to guitargodlike, both not very famous, both played for Ozzy after Randy W. Rhoads. In my opinion they should form some kind of "Supergroup". Imagine Lynch and Lee in one band live Guitardueling. That would be awesome.
You can tell LYNCH was tearing it up though, i can make out what hes playing and he is fucking shredding!!!!BAD sound quality but great guitar skill none the less!!
It was at Sundance in Bay Shore, NY 12/1990.I was there and I remember some people fainting up in the front from the volume.I had earplugs and it made everthing sound fine though.Don Dokken played there a week or two earlier and we caught that show as well.Back then it was Sundance and The Ritz in Huntington that you could catch all the guitar hero bands no frills and all in a small setting.
One of these days I'll post my audiotape of Lynch Mob's Jan '91 show in Milwaukee. Personally recorded 5 feet from the speaker stack (and earplugs jammed as tight as they could go). A little muddy (not this bad), but Lynch cuts through beautifully. Lynch was a beast on that tour-- the pinnacle of his skill.
Yeah George uses alot of effects but not before the amp. They are run through the effects loop of his amplifierHe actually has a great sound but he does play a little "wet" for me you are right. I would rather hear a less processed signal as I like the natural sound of the guitar. The shitty sound is due to the poor quality of the condensor mike on the camera.
holy shit, bad sound and all, george still sounds awesome!!!hell yeah, wish i saw him then,he is a great MUSICIAN!!!!LOVE how he goes and teaches all over, might not always have awesome sound but he doesnt care about that,he wants to inspire younger kids!!!!!great!!!!

uuhmmm, sounds like sh+t, this proves about the homos who like to imagine he sounds good, and what a hypocrite of GL to hint Randy was the one who got teh gig with Ozzy and students befoe that for his looks, look who has nothing else but poser looks here
Yeah, because filming this with a hand-held camera wouldn't remove anything from the actual sound...
Ever tried recording yourself playing loudly on a webcam? That's exactly the equivalent (same thing) as this video: A shit quality camera filming a concert that's wayyyy too loud for it's microphones. The result: Screwed up, shitty sound like this.
If I had a dollar for how many pixels this has, I would have two dollars.
