you forgot to mention the originals....before the rockers there was the rock n' roll express...which is essentially where the rockers gimmick came from. vince mcmahon saw morton and gibson were one of the top tag teams in the country and decided we need our own rock n roll express which brought about the rockers.

That's funny that you post this because I AGREE with you so much with this. If you've noticed, they've broken up KENDRICK & LONDON, and now they've given KENDRICK the "SIMILAR/ALMOST" HBK gimmick. Could be the FUTURE HBK In my personal opinion.

The Rockers (Janetty and HBK, representing WWE) vs. London and Kendrick (Free Agents, Not WWE nor TNA), vs. Motor City Machine Guns (Representing TNA)

Stipulation: If the Rockers win, London/Kendrick stay on WWE, If MCMG wins, London/Kendrick stay on TNA, if London/Kendrick win, They stay out of the Alliance Wars.
