Really, listening to the Ashes Divide record emphasizes just how much of APC's style and structure was due to Billy. Maynard gets much credit for APC, but it was really Billy's project.

Maynard is still a god to me for his ability to sing in ways only our minds can hear when they tend to be creative, but after watching an interview of them 2, Maynard admits that he just wanted to sing over Billy's music... and to the observant, vocals are just one addition of sound when it comes to music

I opened for these guys once in Regina. Billy was pretty reserved but kind enough when he did spend some time with everyone at the show. I couldn't help but admire the Perfect Circle gear cases everywhere, wondering if Maynard's DNA was anywhere to be found so I could clone my own :)

I met Billy Howerdel about 6 years ago, when he was with APC. He is one of the most kind, friendly, pardon but "sweet", people you could ever hope to meet.  It would be cool if all the kiddies who like what is on (what's left of it) the radio, would listen and buy his record. He deserves it.
