Is it true that the Anti-Defamation League has stooped retailers in New York city from erecting Christmas trees or any type of Christmas tree displays in there shop for fear of offending other minority’s & or other people’s religious beliefs?
Boy,that hurts!Not so much the revelation,but that my wife's Jehovah witness sister is right!AAAAAAAArgh! I put my foot down on helloween in 2011. The bunny of easter is a goner,but the TREE!! The baptist church we have been going to set up a 4 STORY idol! How creepy is that?Inside the sanctuary.Tuf stuff you dig up for us,bro!

@brentjones4831 Lights? Technically there's no commandment regarding any of that stuff. So I say a light is just a light. If your light means you love Jesus, it means you love Jesus, but I'm not gunna set up the very tree God said not to set up, and say it means I love Jesus. No way :)
Regarding the Witnesses. they get some things right everyone gets wrong, but they get the BIG things wrong, like who and what Jesus is, which makes them a dangerous cult.

i for one do not worship or idolize my tree,,, i get it because it is festive ,, much the same way i create a snowman in my front yard,,, or carve out a pumpkin on halloween ,,, its a holidy to bring family together and let children enjoy being children,, for me its a magical time of year where you dont let the way you feel about some of your family come in the way of getting together and celebrating,,, i water my tree because it will die if i dont,, it is pretty so i look at it,, no worshiping.
@vudumojo what happens to the people who have never heard of god? are they punished for idolizing something else even though they have no knowledge of god's existance? just curious what your thoughts are on that issue

Good for you. I have not put up a C. tree in about 10 years. It wasn't sin for me, it was nonsense. But for most people it is Idol-A-Tree. They will adore it and care for it more than they adore and care about serving and obeying the Lord Jesus Christ. There is nothing Christian about Christmas. I protest Christmas at Christmas in the Park. I will be out there again Sat. night. Jesus was not born on Dec. 25th. He was likely born at the end of September. Santa is Satan. Presents feed materialism.
It is encouraging to see more and more Christians rejecting the celebration of Christmas each year. They are realizing that they cannot keep Christ in Christmas since Christ was never there in the first place. Nowhere in the Bible does it tell us to associate Christ with pagan rituals and celebrations. It is time for Christians to break out of the social paradigm box and become obedient to Christ concerning this pagan celebration.

@vudumojo I am in the same boat. The family members I do tell say they are celebrating Jesus so it doesn't matter. And I said I didn't want to celebrate Christmas anymore and still my mom brought a tree. I just don't want to have anything to do with it.

Haven't put a tree up in seven years, last one was decorated with so many beautiful crosses of all kinds it looked so beautiful.
My heart knew it was a pagan tradition, never again would I do it.
The distractions of a day set apart with very little mention of JESUS only traditions :(
