hahaha, Honus Honus you mean? I didn't notice that first. The only reason I know about this guy is that I saw their bass player in a photo with MIA - I read the caption and thought "who the hell is Man Man?" I bought their first CD right away, and I think my wife got me the other two for Christmas. Christmas morning, I'm initiating her family to Man Man.

I too saw these guys open for Modest Mouse last year. I was really pumped for Modest Mouse but I walked in to find my seat and here was this incredible mass of energy and awesomeness that is MAN MAN. I even turned my 53 year old mom onto them and she digs a lot.

i saw them with modest mouse, too, in atlanta. i walked towards the stage thinking "what the fuck is this?" after five minutes of them i could not get their music and appearance out of my head. i also turned my mom and dad onto them haha

I'm not trying to defend it or anything, I don't understand why you have to just put down this music just because you don't like it, I mean if you don't like the music you don't have to listen to it right? What is beautiful music anyway? you've got complex compositions, which can be perfected, and perfected, and at the same time, a basic 12 Bar Blues can be impossible not to like, It seems to me that quality of music is nearly impossible to define sometimes.
