Looking at the windsock at 3:08, there appears to be a significant tailwind. Perhaps landing on runway 05 might have been a more sensible option.

Sabes, a maioria nesse avião eram ingleses e como tal estão sempre com um pouco de medo de aterrar na Madeira e qualquer coisa fora do normal, lá vêm os gritos, mas nada de especial.
