very very cool, but my recommendation as a fellow artist, something i would recommend you try (i've never done it myself, but looking at your drawing, i think it would look good) where there's a true outline for the bird, like the head, shoulders, and tops of the wings, instead of making it outlined so much, make fire flowing over it and around it, but then have darker fire, like that brownish red you used, to imply the shape of the pheonix.

just draw a similiar BIRD ( not fire ) like that
