So I'm wearing a wig for the first time. I'm natural. I cut some of my hair off, but plan on cutting even more off. Did you have any problems with the wig cap rubbing against your edges? My edges are already kinda thin I don't want them to get any worse.

I did the bc 5 months ago..your hair will grow really fast..the wig looks good on you,,BUT you dont need it because you have high cheekbones and amazing lips ( like most black women )... soo cropped natural hair is perfect for our features...we just have to own it and rock it with confidence....

Its a good idea to wear wigs after your big chop and even when your hair grow out because it gives your hair a rest. great for color or to help you avoid going back to a relaxer. Please look at wigs as your back up hair style its wise and healthy. I love your wig and I will be doing tutorials on short sassy wigs.

My info box mentioned why i wear wigs...what everybody needs to realize is that everybody has their own reason for doing the BC...whether they rock it or not is their business...when i did my BC i so badly wanted to rock my BC..i wasn't ashamed to wear it..i got too much swag to have been ashame but my sides were almost just too bald to do so..so i gave myself the option to wear wigs until they grow back...hope i've answered your questions sweetie...
