@silverblotter I don't think you quite grasped the poetry. Think is a qawwali dedicated to the Islamic Sufi saint and Sikh Bhagat, Baba Farid Ganjshakar. If you exchange Mohammad with Jesus in this verse, it will still be in praise of Baba Farid.

@arjulfi,you r talking in context of islam. in the context of this qawwali which is a chisti qawwali the chaar yaar are the four chisti saints. it might be difficult for orthodox muslims to accept sufism as they consider sufis as qafir. but the lyrics dont say hazi, haz,i hazi, hazi or abu, omar, usman ali. they say hazi(Hazrat Nizamuddin), Khwaza(Kwhaza Moinuddin), Qutub(Qutubuddin Kaki) and Farid(Baba Farid).. doesnt need a nuclear scientist to figure out who among us is right.
