@locoroco211 Yes - Back when this video was uploaded, YouTube did not have the same time limit restrictions on videos it has in place now. That's why some older videos are longer. I think YouTube partners can also upload longer videos, but I'm not sure about that.

Fucking love this game. What all the metroids should have been in my opinion. Now all the new 2'd sidescrollers take a day to beat, this game was so BIG, and compared to fusion/first mission, they are no where near the time it took you to find everything or even progress in the game because you had to look everywhere for the metroids in order to move on. (*Brilliant Idea*.) Best part about this game alone is the dungeon crawling.

I think it's because there wasn't always music. It's mostly that ambient "insect noises" I always called them and that Chozo ruin music.

That and the fact that you didn't always know where you were supposed to be going.

Man, I love the ending music -- it's one of my favorites of all time! It's so uplifting and heroic sounding, like they really want to you know that you accomplished something!! It's rare that you get music like that in endings, especially nowadays. Hell, half the time there's a catch, and you didn't really save or rescue anything; in fact, you (the hero) end up screwing something up by accident. Long live Metroid!!!
