I think he is mistaking Darwin's Theory of Evolution with evolution in general. Darwin believed that all organisms came from the same origin, or progenitor cell. Darwin did not have the benefit of molecular biology, he based his ideas on morphology, because he did not have genetic sequencing to verify small changes in a genome. A term that had yet to be invented. You cannot use1800's science as testimony against modern evidence.

Evolution is a theory that is accepted as fact, but still not a law. It is accepted as fact because it is a solid model for other conclusions and nothing else is plausible in the scientific world. There is absolutely nothing, however, to support that it is a law of science. It is still being debated upon!

I never stated my opinion on the matter one way or the other...in fact, I admit that I have no idea whetehr it was design or evolution, I'm open to both and realize that no one can know with absolute certainty. My argument has simply been that challenging someone's beliefs because you believe yours is a fact is dead wrong.

Matter cannot be created or destroyed, at least by our knowledge of science...so if everything came from a big bang, where did that cluster of particles come from in the first place? There is no scientific explanation for that, meaning that intelligent design is just as plausible a theory for our manifestation as any other, if not more so. Your arguments are based on speculation.

@NecroMantis87 Adaptation...is...evolution. Organisms adapt genetically, therefore, they evolve genetically. If an organism transforms from one given genome to another, it evolves. It is no longer the same, it has evolved. This happens all the time in living organisms.
Mass and energy are, from what I understand, interchangeable. Matter comes from energy. And apparently, scientists have created matter in a lab. So maybe your god wears a white lab coat.
