Another trick to make Dante quite easy... worked even on DMD difficulty... Jump, snatch him and buster him in air, he sometimes jumps out of it, but you can just snatch him again, and when he doesn't he gets slammed on the floor for damage.

now that I look at it, and by that I mean I actually managed to beat bloody palace w/ nero, Nero is a better easier way to go. Dante is the hard mode, while nero's the easy mode. The reason why nero is beteer is because he can use his buster to bring enemies to him and deal major damage with it. he also uses his sword in a wild manner that is good for crowd control, and don't forgot his insane charge shot.

There isnt an easy mode for bloody palace it just gets progresively harder as it goes up, And you cannot use any items in bloody palace mode so he couldnt have used potions :P

when dante uses royal blocker you can cheat the rest of the way and just keep shooting him, he takes very little damage but it builds up your dt guage eventually and you can keep using it when you have it against him
