@batman1232831 Yes, I really did make this. It was a top 10 finalist in the Spider-man 3 "Spin Your Own Webisode" contest.

where did you get the slime and how did you make it grow

@batman1232831 the black slime was actually just black water-based paint that I poured on the feet and hand (then the footage of the hand was flipped upside down). and then gravity did the rest.

The black suit in this video was custom made. A version of spider-spud was released with a black suit for Spider-man 3 in a two pack with the red suit. It is probably available on eBay.

I was initially going to call him Spuder-man, but went with the actual toy name for the contest as we were encouraged to use merchandise from the movie. I'm working on something new and in it he will defiantly be called Spuder-man.
