we are arguing because you said "going to war is not helping, no matter what it's against". Part of the point is the USA defeated the Nazi's, England was losing, France surrendered(naturally), The USA was the only country that could stop Hitler. Sometimes going to war is needed and it is helping.

Some battles need to be fought but the root cause of war is desparation and we could do a lot more good with a lot less violence by spending the money we throw away on munitions on improving the standards of living at home and abroad.

The last time i checked we didn't start WW1, WW2, or the war in Iraq. The Taliban has been at war with America since Desert Storm. After Desert Storm we didn't take any action until '03
