well, bare legs may be tacky in the UK, due to a lack of summer heat which forces/invites to 'dress' legs; but I'm from Majorca, and I know for experience that in summer the temperature may be over 30º C (about 90º F). Imagine that you are an English tourist who visits Majorca on summer... you couldn't stand wearing tights and you will be forced to undress your legs (in Majorca, 'bad tongues' say that fair Germanic girls don't epil their legs, but it's FALSE!!!!).
