  • REALLY INSPIRING! :o)

    I was on a retreat for 10 days and started to pay attention to my emotions and feelings during the breakfast, lunch or dinner. I just closed my eyes and paid attention to how I feel from the food, is it enough for me or not, do I feel better eating it or worse and so on. I realised that I used to eat MUCH MORE than I needed, so this "exercise" helped me to eat less and get more joy/energy from the food, get out from self-blaming vicious circle and become 5kg lighter.

  • @Op69Litetheweigh, actually there was a lot of struggle and not so much bliss :o)

    My point is that probably it will help you to lose those kilos if you listen to your body at least during meal?

    I know it's easy to suggest it or do it on a retreat and not so comfortable to eat mindfully during the lunch with co-workers when everybody is laughing and sharing whatever they have to share. But we still have breakfast/dinner when it is possible turn off tv, shut down the book and eat mindfully :o)
