  • im glad Jessica Lange lip synced. I commend Bev. D'angelo for singing, but Patsy's voice was just too unique to duplicate.

  • The thing is Lange lip-synced in the movie, but if Michelle Delane made a movie about Patsy Cline she would not have to lip-sync she has the real voice....

  • i loved it ...

  • this movie had to many historical inaccuracy's for me to enjoy it.

  • @fordxbgtfalcon a lot of them do. It's called "artistic liberty".

  • That night club she played at is about 15 minutes from where I live. I still looks the same.

  • I like the way she says "take a walk" here. LOL!!!

  • I Love this movie it what made me a fan of hers that voice of her's something .I get the whole lip sync thing some people did not like it. but thing is her voice is so beauiful and one of kind .imo no one can do her justice.thanks for posting I wish i'm able to see the whole movie.

  • They filmed quite a bit of this in my home town of Martinsburg, WV. It is set in Winchester VA (about 40 minutes away). There weren't enough extant houses in WInchester (the town had undergone too much overall renovation since that time), and it wouldn't have passed for that period. SO-Martinsburg was used. As well as nearby cities of Hagerstown, MD. and Charles Town, WV (this scene included).

  • why dont you post the movie on youtube

  • You can get the movie relatively cheap, I would try deepdiscountdvd (dot) com. if you are a fan its worth spending a few bucks on.

  • Oh, this is beautiful!

A very nice Flea-market owner suggested me to watch this film (since I was dancing to the 50's-60's music that was playing in the market! XD) . Is it on DVD?

  • Patsy was very spirited and could sing up a storm, too bad she died young, who knows how much more wonderful music she would have done... Jessica Lange and Ed Harris REALLY "capture" her and her life in this movie as well... WOW, doesn't Ed Harris look SO GOOD in this movie< ah the 1950's...
