I find it amazing how so many ice levels/areas in video games have beautiful musics... take Gagazet from FF10, this place or the Snow zone in Earthbound just to name a few

from what I understand there's one big town

but it doesn't matter much for me if there aren't any even though it was still cool to chill out in them. Apparently all the shops and basically all the things you want to do besides the battles won't be in towns but in the saving points

The snowy mountain before Oerba reminds me of Mt. Gagazet from FFX. Oerba reminds me of the Zanarkand Ruins (with it being ruined and abandoned)

I have to agree, this is probably the best music track of the game that I've heard so far. Then again, I have a profound weakness for the more "abstract choral" pieces like this. :)

Both of the Gran Pulse ones I've heard have been exquisite!

I just realized this, and i don't know if it will bug anyone else, but it kind of bothers me, but when Vanille is walking through the snow, she doesn't leave foot prints...She kind of just walks on the surface. Minor graphical error i guess that Square didn't care to fix. Oh well. It's not that big a deal.

Sometimes I look at Cocoon and think that it doesn't make any sense...Is it a moon? A colony? Is it bigger on the inside than on the outside? Why IS there a crack in the side?

@TearD6 think of cocoon like a hollow sphere. Her center of gravity is in her crust, not in the center of the sphere (like Earth). Henceforth, when you are lying on the internal surface, your mass is being attracted to the crust, not to the base of the sphere (which would means Pulse's gravity) or the center of the sphere.

FF13 was made by Motomu Toriyama and the rest of the original FF10 team. Hence why they seem similar!

A Cie Corpse is a L'cie that does not complete their focus, and their body is crystalized and they lost all humanity and become a living monster. So basically a zombie.
