I have worked with DOS since it was first released . You recover nothing in DOS. Period. Only in later GUI shells could you begin to recover files. MAC does not do the renaming he is talking about. Windows does. In fact everything he is talking about happens with the Windows registry.

i just had a look on a site for battlefield 1942 demo and it said it can run on macs but u need 256 MB RAM
and a 32 MB 3D Vid Card (i think its a battlefield game made speciallly for macs)

In all honesty, I can generally at least relate to most PC users who think they're funny whining about Mac stuff, but I have no idea what this guy is talking about. I've been using Macs for nearly a decade, and the only problem he mentions that I ever experienced was IE magically quitting on my numerous times back in 8.6... and that was a Microsoft program.

I like both Windows and Mac, my windows desktop is far superior to any mac and just as stable, but when it comes to laptops (Notebooks) Mac is the best choice. At the end of the day its down to personal preference.

What are you talking about he has a G4 in that video and that was released in 1999-2000 time frame. This video is also only 3 years old. Aka 2002-2003 is when it was made. Odds are he was using Mac OSX 10.2.

I hate to break it to you, but the first generation G5 has a critical error that Mac would not admit and send a patch for during the first year. It caused so many headaches for Mac labs at some colleges. Not to mention the Spinning Color Wheel of death when it locks up.

Only thing I've ever liked about the Mac system was that it was based off a RISC processor rather than a CISC. But thank you Intel, that difference is no longer. I'm sorry, I'll spend 2.5K on building a bleeding edge AMD based PC rather than a Mac that's barely got specs above an entry level PC, except for the CPUs.
