Can somebody please confirm this: are the cockpit windows just tinted or completely blacked out?? I like the tinting they are starting to do with the ships like the TIEs and the new ARC-170 but this looks too dark to just be tinting. Too bad. I might wait for later variations of this sculpt before buying, I might as well wait for a colour combination that I might like and actual tinted windows.

the chin guns rotate because it is pretty much a dropship and not a fighter. they rotate to destroy and enemies on the ground that will be a hazard to the troops. just to answer the question

Hasbro will add a little more detail or features here and there on this existing mold until you think that you FINALLY have the ultimate Gunship. Then they'll release a new larger one.

Besides they still need to make one large enough to transport the AT-TE like they showed us in Episode II. Maybe with a removable troop compartment so it can either be a troop transport or AT-TE drop ship.

Did they add foot pegs behind the archways so the troopers don't fall down?

how they can make a LAAT to transport the AT-TE? u hear urself speaking? those 2 combined are 5 kilos or more and huge, bigger than the Millenium Falcon. this is the ultimate TCW gunship. i agree with u they will maybe release an Ep 2 Gunship and i also agree they need to release another At-TE because they old one is a bit crap, but it was the first ever released...

I agree, but looking back over the ages of Star Wars collecting I believe Hasbro would say they could never make the AT-TE or BMF, yet here they are.

the millenium falcon is so cool but the AT-TE compared to the Turbo tank is not that cool though. i feel they can do some other features, not sure what features or where to make em' but they can.

in every domain anything is much more advanced than we know/ they just release them at a big time difference to gain as much money as they can

How can they make it? Simple by simply making it. I hear myself speaking and I never do so without much thought.

I will tell you that this ISN'T the ultimate Gunship. They still need to make one that better carries the gun turrets and allows the doors to close and they still need to add FOOT PEGS to that damn forward compartment so people don't have to use blue tack to hold their clones in position.

this one carries. u have to buy 2 battle on geonosis battlepacks and there u go... and there are foot pegs. all they have to do is some seats for the clones because that system is weird

I own this and I have 2 Geonosis battlepacks.

That said, the Gunship STILL NEEDS FOOTPEGS behind the arched doorways. The small closing doors hold the figures inside but they still fall around if you move it.

it is an awesome item and a great addition to any collection. this one is more accurate to the animated series, the old one was much closer to the movie. very cool at this one is that if u buy two geonosis assault battle packs from the legacy collection u can attach the manual turrets which is really cool. i for one don't like at it that the windows are dark and the clone pilots stay up and are not having a chair but the cockpit is kinda lil' for 2 chair either. awesome review friend! 5*
