Got any recommendations for other bands? I just found origin on here and of this genre they are awesome, bought this album and I'm waiting for antithesis to arrive, but I'd love to find some other good bands in this genre.

I would reccomend you Nile if you have not heard of them. They are Egyptian themed.

Spawn of Possession, Necrophagist, Obscura, Monumental Torment are also really good.

Monumental Torment, Brain Drill are two bands which I personally dislike but maybe you will like them.

@crabid Kronos, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Element, Decapitated, Cryptopsy, Decrepit Birth, Dying Fetus are all great and interesting bands. You should also check out Ulcerate's first album, "Of Fracture and Failure". It's super-technical and chaotic. Their later albums are also fucking amazing, I personally like them even more, but they're slightly less technical and a lot more atmospheric, a bit like Deathspell Omega.
