@origamimaster4716 He he, being an American kid I thought you would know. It is some silly way to say "for the win" meaning that is the best. About the method to do a FT from a square, you're right, just make the 22.5° creases and fold in the corners so that you get an octagon.
@origamimaster4716 The model can be folded without CP. This one with this many layers was folded using a large sheet of paper and a decreeping method (not printed CP) that can be figured out after you've folded the CP many times and experimented with it.
is this the decreeping method or the regular? I notice that this one is diffrent than the other stardream purple one you made. i understand that this is an 8 fold and the other is a 12 fold. can you please explain the difference to me? i played a game and have 2 cps for 2 different 2 fold towers. I did decreeping method and got your purple one. how do you do this one? please reply- nicely folded :D
@ordaudee I do know that you have to buy his CD's to learn the model. I just figured out how to do the other purple one, but not this one. Can you tell me how to do this? Is the process similar to the other one? Where can you find the CP? Also, about the game I played- I have a CP for the other 12 Fold that I didn't figure out. Is this CP the same as the one shown here? Please Reply :D I will PM you the links of the 2 CP's for the model. Tell me which is which and how you collapse the 1 that IDK
@kandtjian It is a complex model. You have to buy the CD it is explained at. If you are interested Google Shadowfolds and you'll find a link to the Cd sale page.
@amuntvalenciane The CDs where the instructions are can be bought from a web page youtube does not allow links of the author Chris Palmer, look for shadowfolds

@ordaudee Just wondering where you learned it
origamimaster4716 2 months ago
@origamimaster4716 I figured it our from the CP and after folding many of them I refined my folding method.
ordaudee 2 months ago
@ordaudee There is no way other than folding it with a CP right? Was this folded from a CP?

@origamimaster4716
1. This was done using the decreeping method, I don't think you can make it any other way except for foldinh over a printed CP.
2. This one has 8 sides and should be folded from an octagon, it can also be folded from a square with partially blintzed corners.
3. I can't show you how to do it. Maybe you can support the artist and buy his CD's search for shadowfolds and Chris Palmer.

From which kind of paper did you fold it?
sebi20202 1 year ago
@sebi20202 This is some paper made in Colombia, it is kind of stiff and somewhat resistant but I don't know its name. The size was 70 x 70 cm (27 in)

how do you fold it

The Crease pattern appeared in a Tanteidan convention book #8, but you have to figure out the folding process and it is not easy.
