to the first question: it has been like this for a long time and the citicens like it that way... It is tippical for Chur.

And the second one: these ar 900 cm tracks. They are build only for this company... As far as I know.

this is NO(!) train. it's the Arosa Bähnli that means it's a tram which has only this track! We don't laying train tracks embedded in the streets. But now the stations is pretty more modern an also much more beautiful!

The only way is up - from Chur (500 M above sea-level to 1800 Meters to Arosa.) Arosa is one of the best Ski and Snowboard-Resort.
